Pretty much what the title states...i'm almost sure there isn't a way, but thought i'd ask before completely discarding the idea.

Thanks

No. You can nuke your account and make a new one, but that's fairly inconvenient.

Bummer...i'll probably do that, i was thinking of permanently subscribing after my trial ended, but i'll probably do so on a new account...i don't use this user name anymore and it's been bugging me ever since i created my account, don't know what i was thinking when i created this account with this name....actually, wait...i do know what i was thinking, i had to sign up and make use of the 14 day trial to watch the last episode of a simulcast anime

Also, I pay monthly for my anime membership and I believe that the billing cycle had lapsed into a new one. What happens to that $7 that I was just charged?

If you cancel an account that has less than 30 days remaining, your membership ends when you cancel. There is no proportional refund. Your best approach would be to wait to cancel until just before the next renewal date. You could also contact customer service and request automatically renewal of your membership be cancelled, but the only difference with that is you don't have to remember to cancel.

That would be best so I don't waste the 5 dollars or so of unused membership that I have left. Yet, if I were to leave now I can create a new account right away. I'm not sure what I'll do but I certainly appreciate the information.

Thank you.

You're welcome.

Although I believe CR has a policy against a user having more than one account, you may want to check with customer service and see if they could grant you a temporary exception. That way you could go ahead and create the new account to use right away for all purposes except viewing videos. Even with their approval, I suspect you would need to have a different e-mail address to use.

If you contact customer service to get approval, you could also get them to turn off auto renewal on your current account at the same time.
