That's not really the point of what he's saying. If you paid for something you deserve to get what you bought, you paid for, that means that it should be up to the standards that they were selling it for.

Thats not really true, Your paying to support legal streaming anime that helps the industry which brings us even more anime that we would never know about. Once again Cr has no choice in the matter. Its not like they where like hey Attack on Titan is such a good anime lets make the fans wait just because you know we can....

They gave us a reason why it has not been aired on CR, due to "technical issue with the licensor's delivery system causing a delay for the video to be delivered", I don't understand why people are still complaining about this when its out of CR hands in the first place?? Waiting even 24 hours to see it is not going to kill you... Well... maybe some if they have mental issues i guess...

Lol that's all I can say. I like this anime as much as everyone here but really now? As long as they bring it to us then there shouldn't be any fuss about it. Kill some time, go do something else this anime ain't going anywhere. Keep up the good work CR!

The issue is they don't explain why the materials delay happened right away. BasouKazuma posted it was the licensor's delivery system, but this should have been said right away. Something like "Due to a materials delay caused by the licensor's delivery system..." would be appropriate. That way Crunchyroll shows some effort in explaining why this happened. If I can download the episode in HD before it goes on Crunchyroll what is the point of watching it on this website? I hope everything gets fixed and they show each episode as promised, Sunday's at 8 am. Also I put the full blame on the licensor not Crunchyroll for the delay. I blame Crunchyroll for their communication and explanation of the problem. That is all.

This is why piracy exists. You can get numerous subs out there for Attack on Titan which are most likely not endorsed by the publisher. However, they get it to the public every time, on time. If you want to compete with pirates, you MUST launch on time, every time.

Piracy exists because people don't want to pay money for things they want, for whatever reason they want to justify it with. You are paying for a legitimate service that is not illegal or immoral. It does not exist to "compete with pirates". You aren't going to pirate a torrent of an episode that was delayed for maybe a day or two, with shitty subs and potentially a virus if you are already paying for this service. Piracy is also a crime and while it is a hard crime to fight you are a criminal if you do so.

I don't compare my bank account to a local mafia "trust fund" for example.

Also, pirates can't release anything "on time" as by definition it has to be released legitimately before they can start producing a fansub...

Yeah, they did actually post them it in the details section for Attack on Titan. Though again, those aren't the most visible things... I barely noticed them until I ran into these delays tbh =p.

Ya' see, this is the problem nowadays. Everything is so on-demand that when one has to wait, one spends that waiting time whining about having to wait! I remember when I had to flip back and forth between channels really fast just to get some decent programming in! There are a ton of anime's on here that you guys can watch in the mean time or read a manga or watch a k-drama(lord knows those shows can keep you busy for weeks). CR releases quality subs as best as they could. Their human and so is the source they get it from...well..maybe...either way. Learn to be patient!!

CR's English subs are better than the fansubs, this doesn't make me any happier to wait longer for the next episode when CR is unable to meet its release schedule.

Nonetheless! Its worth the wait just for the picture quality and good english subs alone, so long as the wait isn't another whole week.

Needless to say I'll be going potato girl on the next episode the moment its up!

While I hate having to miss out on all the discussions for episode 6 that have already taken place this weekend, the wait is still worth it.

Honestly the disturbers should be giving the apology not Crunchyroll. As a premium members we support their company so that it stays running. I can understand glitches and stuff but this seems like a regular occurrence. They could at least send out some sort of explanation to those who watch their productions instead of leaving Crunchyroll with receiving all the rap. That would be the appropriate thing to do.

Personally I think Crunchyroll is doing an awesome job with getting new content out. Even though I caved on episode 6 and watched it on another website I will defiantly be re-watching it on here tomorrow when its uploaded.

...and reading this thread just reminds me why I hate forums at times.

The lack of patience and sense of entitlement just astounds me. Also, the "I can download this elsewhere already" angle which endorses piracy is just childish.

Sure, you can complain a bit, but the way which some people choose to do so/what they say is just ridiculous.

I think everyone as a premium member has a right to complain. They're paying for this service. No it's not CR's fault, nonetheless telling other people to shut up or stop complaining isn't right either. Late delays only entices people to watch shows illegally as it's already been subbed and released to the internet. I agree, an explanation that can clearly be seen by members would have been better. Maybe we would have less people complaining as most are mainly upset at lack of communication on what's happening and why.
