It was legit stuff actually, I bought several different ones from various tattoo and piercing shops, but it's all surgical steel, and that has a good amount of nickel in it, there are just a very few types without any nickel in them and those are really hard to find, even online.

My allergy is pretty strong too, I got a mean rash around my mouth just from playing the trumpet for a few minutes as a kid, cause the tip has nickel in it

Isn't that the reason a person (male or female) gets their ears pierced? For the sake of fashion? I don't think gender really has much to do with ear piercings

I don't mind it at all. Although, if they dress like Justin Bieber, and have pierced ears, it looks douchey.

I personally love to see guys with pierced ears. I think it can make a guy look really sexy if they wear the right kind of earrings.

I did it when I was a kid. I only had one one ear pierced, but I did it. I don't see the big deal about it.

I really like my piercings in general. I've gauged my ears up to 1/2 inch, I got a mini-industrial in my left ear, my left eyebrow pierced, and snakebites. I think as long as you really want them it shouldn't matter. If someone does get them for a month or two for "fashion" or a fad that's ridiculous.

I wish I did it when I was a kid, just a little loop or two.. I feel like it's too late now. Besides that, I wear my motorcycle helmet tight so it would probably be uncomfortable if I had an earring or two.

Sorry but I can't stand to see spacers on guys or girls.

I think piercings can be really attractive. Not like a diamond in the right ear combined with douchey clothes, but more of a relaxed style. So basically piercings in general is attractive to me. I don't think it would fit me though

Back in the day guys used to pierce their ears to piss off the squares. Now the squares are wearing earrings. Bottom line: who cares? Your body, your right to create more orifices. Here's an idea, fellas....put a huge rail-road spike right through your nose. It's alright if it makes ya feel better.

depends what kind. if it's something like a diamond then it just looks douchey -.- if it something simpler like just a small ring then it looks pretty nice imo. I wanna get my ear pierced like alibaba
just the red one though. the bottom one looks weird

I think a lot of people )before piercing their ears or getting tattoos( consider what other people will think of them before they do it, and it can really dissuade said people from doing what they want. A good example is that people consider men who pierce their ears to be homosexuals purely because it's what society has alluded to. When it comes down to it, if you want to pierce your ears, go for it. It's your choice and you should make it for yourself. If your friends and family don't like it, screw them, their opinions shouldn't matter if they can't accept what you've done. Regardless of if you do it for fashion or for self improvement, it's your body. Feel free to make it into a canvas of your personality.

It depends on what it looks like. I will say, I work in a professional setting, and it would not be the best idea to have pierced ears if one were looking to climb the ladder. It wouldn't be a show stopper, but image is important.

Funny side story. I have big earlobes. I was getting a burrito one day at Freebirds, and the guy behind the counter asked if I had my holes repaired. I laughed and said, "no I just have big lobes" He got nervous and apologized. I just laughed and said it's ok, I like my big earlobes. My sister was with me and had this massive grin on her face. She likes to grab my big lobes and pull on them. So does my daughter.
