I will definitely give you that.

Bleach certainly had a good deal of promise its first season as did Death Note. Death Note ended with the death of L as far as i'm concerned.

Yes, I've been saying this as well. Death Note ended for me when L died. Also Bleach ended for me when Ichigo saved Rukia.

Other than that I don't like Naruto, One Piece as the animation is just way to weird, Zatch Bell, Bobobo-bo-bo (probably spelled wrong, but it's a lame show anyway), and School Days. I'm not really sure how I feel about Amnesia; I watched it all the way through and kind of feel indifferent to it.

Um. What do you like? If you don't mind. I'm curious.

Yes, now I'm interested if you wouldn't mind sharing that is?

As for genres I don't like: shojo, shonen, action, ecchi and "you are the only one who can save us now" shows.
This does not compute.

But thanks for satisfying my curiosity though; I like a bunch of those titles as well.

I don't like the genres, but some of the titles belonging to these genres are able to set themselves apart from the rest in a manner that satisfies me

You ever try The Flowers of Evil, Garden of Sinners, Gunslinger Girl, Gunbuster, Ga Rei Zero, Black Lagoon, or Rin: Daughters of Mnemosyne? So basically, you don't like the genres but specific titles within said genres, and primarily, you like seinen titles (even though a good number of the titles you dislike are in fact seinen). A genre doesn't really define an anime or a manga if you think about it. I mean, take for example, Gunslinger Girl and The Flowers of Evil: both are shounen but they deal with things most would consider seinen.

^ O, what? Are you surprised?

I have tried Aku no Hana, and well, I did not really like it, but I enjoyed Black Lagoon. As for the others: I will investigate further...

Oh yeah, and Texhnolyze, Shigurui: Death Frenzy, Gasaraki, School Rumble, Cromartie High School, Time of Eve, Rideback, Noir, etc.

I could keep going, but instead I'll just post my anime list (which I haven't updated in awhile, but its better than nothing):

I know I've seen more than 200 anime titles (manga, I'm not totally sure).

You show great skill of perception , my favourite genre is indeed seinen, but as you said I do dislike a lot of seinen titles. The genre is not very important for me, as there can be vast differences between shows with the same genres. I did not like Aku No Hana, but I thought Black Lagoon was pretty good.

I don't dislike anything, so that's probably why I can go from K-On! to Ergo Proxy to Taimanin Asagi with no trouble. If you were wondering, well I don't really have to explain K-On! and Ergo Proxy do I? As for Taimanin Asagi, it's an anime adaptation of a series of games by Black Lilith, *ahem* it's a hardcore hentai title.

Well, to be completely honest hentai is not realy my thing, neither is ecchi, as I feel really uncomfortable watching them. Most om my animefriends are pinned to certain genres, but I feel that itis easier to find titles you like when you venture out of your comfort zone.

Sword Art Online, which I am currently watching now. It's not that I cant stand it, I actually like it, it was just WAY too over-hyped. People are praising it for being this amazing, epic anime, when really it is pretty generic, albeit with some beautiful animation and amazing action sequences.

If anything, nowadays it gets more hate than praise...

But I'd have to say Rosario+Vampire. Really didn't like that series...

It gets more hate? Where does it get hate? Everywhere I go, I see some guy sucking off Sword Art Online, if this show has any hate, I would love to see where it comes from.

Oh yeah I remember that place, I'm the Silverpotatoes dude that got 50 helpfuls and 70 "Not helpfuls" But the fact that all the negative, yet well thought out, intelligent, and accurate reviews gets a net negative amount of "Not helpful" kind of shows that the majority doesn't hate it.

No offense, but a well thought out review would not be a 1. It had very nice animation and art, the sound also wasn't half bad. The writing may have been crap, along with the characters. But a well though out/written review would give credit where credit is due. Giving it a 1 proves my point that it gets ton of hate.
