When I finished reading Kare Kano I cried a little. Not because it was sad or anything, but because it felt so perfect.
When I was reading it (especially when Arima was struggling) I felt tortured myself. It was weird--I don't think a story has ever made me feel so troubled before and anxious (and hopeful :D.)
I really loved it and it feels a lot different from a lot of manga because although there is so much crazy stuff going on, it just feels real. And rather than having the characters grow by strength's such as getting smarter or prettier, or being loved more-- it was more like each character matured like a real person. Haha, I'm getting all emotional here cause I really really loved the story
But does anyone else feel the same way I do about it?
I don't usually fall in love with a manga as much as I did with Kare kano. I feel like not only was it a beautiful story but that I felt myself feel changed by the time I finished it. What do you think?
