So, I just finished Clannad: After Story....

I know that this show is a few years old, but did anyone cry? I do not easily cry and this show opened up the tear ducts again. I have NEVER gotten so emotional with a show. Did this happen to anyone else or am I just a woose?

I'm going to admit this now.
I have teared up during an anime.
But After Story made me BALL my eyes out. I sobbed, mascara ran down my face and everything. I looked like I just witnessed something very horrific, and my parents hardcore judged me for doing that.
Air made me do that as well, if you've ever seen that... I personally find Air more depressing, but Clannad After Story... GOOD BYE SENSE OF EMOTIONAL STABILITY!

Congrats! Wasn't it amazing? And I think almost everyone cries from watching Clannad so don't worry lol.
By the way, I recommend watching Ano Hana next if you haven't. It'll make you just as emotional.
I literally had two waterfalls running down from my eyes. I couldn't stop for a few hours.

Yeah it's the most emotionally draining anime I've ever seen. I got a little bit sniffly when
.

And then stuff kept piling on and on on top of that. Then suddenly

And I'm all like "You know it's just too much at this point." And I didn't get all that sad. Then finally

And I totally lost it. It was like the dam breaking; so much crying! And it wasn't even one of the sad parts...in fact it's a part that a lot of people don't like due to the fact that it made the ending a

Good times...the Clannad experience is something special that I think people need to experience at least once.

Nope... most of the dark side suspected the happy ending and so we really didn't care, lol.

Two shows I can never bring myself to watch again. I also made damn sure nobody witnessed the event. I was so unprepared for it.

As has been said, you are far from alone, my friend. I cried man tears like a little girl, and I don't even care. If you get a chance (and you're interested, of course), play through the VN. It'll rip your heart out all over again, more than once.

You absolutely need to. I was scared too, but it is definitely an experience more than anything. More After Story than the first season, but the first season is important for character development.
