I'll be using Daisuki to watch Gundam.

The only use I have for Daisuki is for Sunrise mecha shows that Crunchyroll or Gundaminfo won't pick up for catalog.

I prefer crunchyroll, US anime companies youtube channels, and fansubs more. Daisuki is alright, but due to my unstable connection the quality of the video/sound changes a lot. -__-

And to due to Daisuki having a month's lead on Crunchyroll for Monogatari, legal stream viewers are punished and the dirty pirates win by torrenting the raws and the Japanese see no profit from certain fansub groups being the only venue for new episodes until Daisuki gets their crap together.

So yeah, another FAIL move by Daisuki.

Wish they'd give Crunchyroll the simulcast for Monogatari SS like they did for Kill la Kill in Oz and NZ...

That makes it look like its a mix of pressure from the Japanese licensor and the production committee ... Daisuki, where its the rest of the production committee on one side, and the international licensor on the other, they get to put up a "technical difficulties" sign and try to fix the leak.

Madman, where its the international licensor and the rest of the production committee on one side and the overseas licensee on the other, seems to lose the exclusive Oz/NZ streaming rights to Crunchyroll and Daisuki.

Seems like if Crunchyroll wants to get assured one-week-exclusive streaming rights outside of Japan, they need to put up some money up front and get a seat on the production committees.

Today, Daisuki put up the two most recent episodes of Valvrave, so it looks like maybe they plugged their security leaks.

Maybe Daisuki will post the two most recent episode of Monogatari tomorrow so people don't have to go to the dark side to keep up with it.

I sure hope so!

Kill la Kill 8 also went up today so with luck we'll get Monogatari 20 and 21 tomorrow. It's the most anticipated arc of the season, Koimonogatari with Senjougahara sama! So they will lose a lot of views if they don't have it up on time.

Monogatari episodes 20 and 21 have been added by Daisuki so I know that Daisuki watchers can enjoy the Koimonogatari arc.

Yes, awesome!

The watermark remains however so either they are still not 100% sure or their partners are not yet 100% sure and want to check if their feeds get uploaded to torrent before their time.

Time to dig the corpse of this topic back up.

Daisuki appears to have done a substantial site revision. Per their Twitter feed, it apparently re-launched about 18 hours ago.

Not all of the changes were positive. If you were viewing any of the older Gundam series they had (as I was slowly doing with Gundam ZZ), I hope you finished, as they are gone. The only Sunrise title they have currently is Buddy Complex.

They noted on their Facebook page in an entry 19 hours ago (from when I post this), "Streaming of Gundam series will end on 4 July. Thank you for your understanding...!". Apparently their calendar is defective, and as expected, there have already been some unhappy comments about the early removal.

The site is dominated now by Aniplex, which has more titles listed than the other publishers combined, including placeholders for the shows for the new season (Sword Art Online II, ALDNOAH.ZERO, and Persona 4 Golden.

What prompted this was that when replying to another message and checking the shows listed to premiere on July 6, I noticed FansubDB has Daisuki listed as confirmed for a simulcast of Akame ga Kill!.

I have yet to find the source of this, as there appears to be nothing on it at the website itself, their Twitter feed, Facebook page, ANN or CR news, or any other source I could turn up in a search.
