Manga: Hunter x Hunter, although I'm still trying to find some seinen manga to really get into.
Comics: Superior Spider-man, Thor god of thunder, Guardians of the galaxy, and anything from the world of hellboy.

But now that I've got my brain into comics gear, I have to say duh! Of course I have a favorite. Neil Gaiman's incredibly fabulous The Sandman

Later this year, he'll be coming out with a new addition to the Sandman story, Sandman: Overture. Based on the title, I'm guessing it will be telling what happened to Morpheus before issue #1 of Sandman.

Oh my. I didn't know that. Need to write myself a reminder about that. That cover is gorgeous.

I'm more of a DC comic fan, but I did enjoy Spiderman and X-Men from Marvel. My childhood favorites are Batman and Raven from DC comics. I recently got into Trinity of Sin., from DC as well.

Non-Manga would be stuff like:

Sandman
Swamp Thing (Alan Moore's run)
Promethea
Batwoman (Both Greg Rucka & J.H. Williams III's runs)
Wonder Woman (Brian Azzerello, Greg Rucka & George Perez)
Saga
Gotham Central
Secret Six
Daredevil (Mark Waid's run)
Fantastic Four (Jonathan Hickman's run)
Runaways (All three volumes)
Young Avengers (Allan Heinberg & Keiron Gillen)
Journey into Mystery (Keiron Gillen)
Hawkeye (Matt Fraction)
Invincible Iron Fist (Matt Fraction)
Give Me Liberty (Frank Miller)
Starman (James Robinson)
Earth 2 (James Robinson)
The Golden Age (James Robinson)
Johnny the Homicidal Maniac
30 Days of Night (The two series)
Tiny Titans
Ultimate Comics: Spider-Man (with Miles not Peter)
Frankenstein: Agent of S.H.A.D.E.
Kingdom Come
Judge Dredd: America

I like lots of others but I'd say these are my absolute favourites.

Another recommendation I would suggest that Deadpanditto mentioned is:

B O N E

An incredible and orginal fantasy adventure story illustrated and written by Jeff Smith!!
You may have heard of this series before, but if you've never read any of them, then by all means hop to it and treat yourself to one of the greatest stories ever told.

It has adventures, horrors, rommance and non-stop hillarious characters.

I've got Captain Marvel, Young Avengers, and Avengers Arena on my pull list right now. Young Avengers is probably the best thing I've picked up in terms of comics. I just love it.

OEL means Original English Language, and is a term that some people use to describe manga that was created in the US, Canada, or the UK.

Yes, and Clockwork Sky is a Steam Punk OEL about an alternate Victorian England Where low-level Labor has been replaced by machines, and a rebellious young miss who finds out the dark truth behind how they are made.

I am a HUGE DC fan. My favorite's always going to be Batman. I've never really been around comics until recently so I jumped into the New 52 stuff. Batman, Nightwing, and Aquaman are favorites. The My Little Pony comics from IDW, too. The only Marvel title I have in my subscription, though, is the Marvel NOW! X-Men series that features the girls of the X-Men, mainly to learn more about Jubilee. :3

I spend so much money on comics... But I love my variant covers. ;___;

I don't follow many comics, and I've only brushed up against X-Men, but I ran across a little Jubilee series in Marvel Unlimited, and have been seeking out more stories with her in them, because I really like her. Hmmm. Maybe I'm going to have to subscribe to that NOW! series.

Isn't she awesome?! I'm actually planning to cosplay her soon for a comic convention near me in March. Here's to hoping I can do it! And I recommend the series, highly. It's a little crazy at first but I think that's mainly because it's setting everything up. But even in the craziness it's a really good read.
