So i read a decent amount of manga ( but always open to suggestions ) and i feel like not very many people like the series THE BREAKER or even know about it at that. Also, does anyone know if they print volumes of it in english? ( i know it's a manhwa) but yea i guess let me know what you guys think of the series compared to other action manga!

Also, if you have not read the Martials arts manhwa THE BREAKER/ THE BREAKER: new waves , your missing out! it's my favorite ongoing action right now ( including op,naruto, and many others) so check it out!

OMG I just love The Breaker and The Breaker: New Wave series unfortunately I don't think it made its way to America to be printed in English. For me its the best Martial Arts manhwa currently being release right now.

I -really- like The Breaker.

New Waves couldn't hold a candle to it for close to two years, but it's gotten somewhat better recently.

Compared to the original, though, the first 90 chapters or so of New Waves kinda sucked.

I enjoy it a lot. Such a shame it will probably never be turned into an anime.

Pretty decent so far. A new chapter came out last night and I've been enjoying this.

Sadly but this is probably true. I don't remember the last time a manhwa got an anime adaptation.

We could eventually see an original Korean adaptation, though. Their animation studios are pretty good, we actually subcontract a major part of our animation work to them (including the entirety of The Legend of Korra).

(And we silly Americans wanted to take all the credit for how good that show looked).

It seems their home market for animation has started to gain popularity in the past two years or so, as well.

Although The Breaker would be a pretty big investment, I think.

Both the original and new waves are absolutely amazing. They were my first manhwa, and then I got into Noblesse and Tower of God, which are also great manhwa!

I've been following the series since about half-way through into the original series, since that discovery I've been following the series non-stop. It's the only manga I've gone through twice, actively looking to immerse myself in the story so much so that I did indeed go back to grasp a fuller understanding of the the previous series, and the current New Waves.

The main character Shioon is likable, strong and easy to root for; the scenarios are easy to believe(in regards to the physics of the manhwa) and aren't really ever disappointing. It's the main release I look forward to each week, Friday, never to be let down by it.

As for an anime adaption, I hope it would be picked up, it's got potential to be very, very popular.

The Breaker : New Waves is one of my favorite martial arts mangas. Not quite my favorite, but still..
Funny thing is that my favorite top 3 martial arts ''mangas'' are all manhwas.
So yeah martial arts manhwas are one of the best in the manga industry imho.

1. Veritas
2. The Breaker
3. Special Martial Arts Extreme Hell Private High School
4. Transfer student Storm bringer.
5. Girl's of the Wild
And the list goes on.

I do feel like few people have read either "The Breaker" or "The Breaker: New Waves" but would highly recommend anyone to do so. Has to be my favorite out of all the comics, manga and manhwa I read.
Would also recommend "One Punch Man" if you haven't tried it yet, don't know if this is the place to recommend it to people but is definitely one of my favorites.

Veritas was awesome. The way it ended I am still hoping for it to continue.

I love The Breaker. I am still waiting to see Goomoonryong make an appearance in new waves.

The Breaker series is hands down my favorite manwa at this point. The only thing giving it a run for it's money right now is Attack on Titan, Shingeki no Kyojin.

Veritas wont have a sequel because the illustrator and author had a huge fight and now both work on different things.
