I'm sure you're lying about it being bad times... I'm sure you had lots of fun in the build up

Only been there once I stayed there about a week and I'd been like injected 10 times a day all over my body.

I had sinus surgery last year. I'm also a pharmacy student and hope to work in a hospital or become a clinical pharmacist once I graduate. I'm currently seeking intern employment at some of my local hospitals.

I personally don't like hospitals due to the flat atmosphere there but I know that place is the place to help people so yeah.

I've only been to the hospital once for myself, but it wasn't for anything major. I cracked my forearm in a skiing accident. Didn't even go till the next day. Truthfully was a waste of money.

BUT, I have gone to the hospital for family and/or friends. My dad got in a really bad motorcycle accident a few years. Old lady pulled in front of him while he was doing about 65 or 70. He ended up T-boning her. We live in Montana, and while we have some decent hospitals nothing that was good enough. He had to be airlifted to Salt Lake City that same day. I ended up spending 3 weeks in Salt Lake, living in the hospital until he got released and transferred back to a facility in our hometown. That sucked, bad. Thankfully though he has made a great recovery considering the extend of his injuries, going to walk forever with a slight limp and is going to have have some pain the rest of his life, but I'll take that and I'm sure he agrees, over the alternative!

I've been to the hospital probably over 30-50 times. I've broken a couple bones but it's mostly because of my heart problems and I've had 2 surgeries there. Also lets not forget the time I almost died there when I was 17 days old. But really I don't hate or I'm not scared of hospitals at all. Going there is pretty normal for me.

hospitals are cool when you've got good looking nurses by your side. hospitalized once for a major surgery, it was okay but the food sucks so bad

Agreed. The food is terrible. It only gets worse when you are put on a clear liquid diet too. v.v

I've had at least a dozen surgeries to help me live with my disability so I've spent a lot of time at the hospital. Even though I've been there a lot I still can't stand hospitals, too many bad memories there, it was all for the better though.

I've been five times for myself. once for a high fever (like being packed in ice high) when I was a baby, twice for separate head wounds (in the same spot) that resulted from a bicycle accident and years later a car accident, once for being stabbed in the eye and once because said eye got infected after the ER people glued it shut. Probably a few more time I should've gone but sometimes having to pay the bill outweighs being sick or injured.

I've never stayed in a hospital overnight as a patient but I do find hospitals boring and wouldn't really want to stay in one for that reason.

If we're just counting times when they had to do surgeries, 5 for me. If we're counting other things, too many to count. Can't say I hate hospitals at this point, mostly I find them extremely boring. Boring food, boring TV, boring nothing to do, and even reading books can be tough depending on where they have your IVs.

Spoiler alert - lots of medical talk in the pink box below.

Or, if someone is just seeing the scars from all this at the pool or something, I say that I got into a sword fight with a ninja who cut me open from breast bone to waist line, nicked me near my right hip, and then finally shot me in the upper right chest as I was attempting to rescue puppies from a burning orphanage. Those kids needed their doggies. And yes, that ninja did have a gun.

Boring TV!?

I watched Mythbusters for a week straight and it was glorious! Well that and other Discovery channel shows. I didn't even have to share a room so I had that thing on day and night. That and I really liked watching the snow fall onto the rooftops.
