Does the Crunchyroll Anime Membership Gift Card sell in any physical stores, such as Target, 7-eleven, etc.? Or is it just in the online Crunchyroll store?

I haven't seen it in any physical media yet in any of those stores as of recently.

As far as I've seen it, it's only exclusive to their store here due to Anime and Korean Dramas being too niche of a niche market.

Once upon a time there was an announcement about CR gift cards becoming available on Amazon. Or I'm imagining things. Because a search on Amazon just now turned up only the CR app for kindle. No gift/membership card.

ETA: I wasn't imagining it. This was announced back in December:

However going to the link in that first post leads to an Amazon page where the membership gift card is displayed, and along with it a very sad "Currently Unavailable" message.

And yes, that would have been different than a physical store anyway, but it was the only place I could think of besides the CR store.

If you're looking for an actual gift card to give to someone, then refer to the above posts. If you just want to be able to pay for a membership in cash, then the following might be of interest to you. I've never done it myself, so I can only refer you to the given instructions.

PayNearMe allows you to print out a bar code, take it to your local 7-Eleven, and pay at the register. Your points will be awarded immediately upon payment.

That makes a fair bit of sense, thank you. Thinking about it sensibly, now I don't even know why I thought something like Crunchyroll passes would be sold at big-name stores- I think the fact that Nintendo Wii points are available confused me, but, come to think of it, that's a different ballpark entirely.

That's unfortunate! Thank you for bringing this up. Yes, the issue is that I have material cash savings, but no way to invest in a membership with it, without the use of an online PayPal or whatever SnailMail is...

The latter is sort of getting into my issue. The CR Buck earning is a bit sketchy too me, I've never trusted promotional deals from third parties. However, that PayNearMe thing sounds interesting. I was looking for a completely-offline way of payment, but, so long as I don't have to have an online credit card or banking account, that might be worth looking into. Thank you!
