I know i was dissapointed REALLY dissapointed i am a xbox fan but i own both systems i am seriously thinking on going over to become a sony fan because there reveal was AMAZING showed off games LOTS of good ones talked about there console the only dissapoitment about there reveal is not showing the console itself other than that Sonys reveal beats Microsoft by a long-shot i mean half of Microsoft reveal was OMG TV OMG TV OMG TV were is the gaming portion for the gamers besides showing off sports and a new call of duty im still gonna get both consoles but come on Microsoft you really need to step your game up Windows 8 SUCKS now your gonna integrate that HORRIBLE OS into the new xbox that cant even be called a gaming system no more and a Halo tv series? halo was a good game but come on who needs a tv series of that? make another halo game those are fun because you get to enjoy the story and also interact with it Sorry for my very long rant but Microsoft REALLY REALLY sucked at this reveal just talking about integrating tv to the console and using your hand and talking????? some people do not want to talk to turn the channel or flail your hands in the air like a idiot the remote is the best thing for Tv because its small and compact and you can be lazy with it lol but WHO??? would want to change the channel all the time by talking or flailing your arms around like a retard all the time?? also i think that kinnect is going to be a requirement now i dont know about you but i dont want a dam camera looking at me while playing the console who knows about hackers these days they could hack your console and see you and what you are doing plus that would be a invasion of privacy and who knows what microsoft will do with that information of course they will be able to see you and get all the information you put on the console plus they will have you face automatically and if you read over the internet the new xbox might require a internet connection to play your games what if you dont have internet or the internet in your area is temporarily down? whops i Guss were not playing our game until its back up and also if you read online about how the movie companies might use kinnect technology to tell how many people is in the room so say your watching a movie and you want to show it to your friend that friend will walk in and kinnect will see that person and freeze the video and say you have to pay more for him being in the room there is so many changes a lot of them are good but a lot are horrible.

Terribly sorry for my LONG rant but Microsoft pissed me of so much with the reveal of the Xbox one i was expecting more but they only talked about TV TV TV TV TV

They wanted to show the system and that's it. They even said that they're games are coming to the public at E3. They purposely didn't show any games such as these 15 new exclusive titles.

Sony showed off their system and what it can do as a gaming console, not a glorified cable box enhancer. Also, this whole fee for used/borrowed/rented games(if true) is an instant deal breaker for me. Not to mention they said while the system doesn't need to be "always online" it will need to check in with the internet every 24 hours and if it doesn't, it will no longer work. Do you know how often I go days without internet because comcast is having a "problem" in the area. I want a gaming console, not a multimedia machine, I have a computer for that.

I think this video summed up the reveal quite nicely.

I'm just annoyed with the timing of this reveal. Back when the Xbox 360 was released, the PS3 was also released at the same time which was a big mistake because everyone had already bought the cheaper Xbox 360 so no one wanted to buy the Playstation 3. Now we see a repeat of the same thing from 7 years ago, Sony releases the Playstation 4 and Microsoft announces the Xbox One. I'm curious to see the retail sales once each system is released.

^ This. EA SPORTS can just fall off the earth. I literally hated how their sports games were like the main event of that reveal. Also when i saw Steven Spielberg was in charge of that show, i knew it was in safe hands.

I really think this said a lot about what Microsoft is thinking. They are going back to Bill Gates original intentions and are seeking to make this generally an entertainment system. You only get one chance to introduce a product, and if you start out basically 70% tv mumbo jumbo and then a bit of games, its a bit obvious. Microsoft is not stupid, they know this. Personally I think when they said those 15 exclusives, it felt rather underhanded. For all we know, they could be kinect games, more children games, or something else we don't care for. I've seen companies like Microsoft do this before.

P.S.
Xbox One? Really? Thats the title you came up with? When I heard it might be the Xbox Infinity or the Xbox Durango, I thought those were lame, but oh Microsoft you never cease to amaze me. I may even like the Wii U title better, and thats saying something haha

I cant believe they're still making you pay for xbl. Such a joke.

Im not a console gamer but honestly Im expecting sony to run away with this generation, I mean their shares even ROSE 8% immediately following the xbone announcement, thats how little faith even the industry has in this thing

Spent 5 minutes watching and skipped abit on Youtube, then I knew it was not impressive or appealing to me right now.
To me I knew it was going to be a huge rush since Sony announced theirs in Feb.
Think windows 8 + mobile apps and that's all for the console.

Agreed. The only thing of interest was Speilberg + Halo series (which has ZERO to do with XBOX One).

Pimping out EA and Activision for the core of the presentation is crap.
