This isn't in anyway to promote or to say that smoking is a bad thing. i ONLY WANT TO KNOW what you think about E-cigarettes and Hookah-Pens (Those things that people smoke that usually have a blue light at the end that simulates the ember at the end of a cigarette.
Like do you see them around? i personally have only seen 1 and i'm not even sure if it was one or not lol. I've smoked with the hookah tower thing and a hose but i can't have that in my house so that's why i have a pen.
I'm not a smoker but sometimes i get extremely stressed out......extremely.......look at my user name i'm unstable lol jkjkjk but yeah i purchased a hookah pen in the mail and wanted to know what people are going to think when they see me outside lol

This is the flavor I bought

( and before anyone says it i DONT think smoking SHEESHA is healthy in anyway, but i do think it's healthier than a cigarette and taste/smells better than one)

If you don't know what a E-cigerette looks like HERE:

They're good alternatives to cigarettes and can help people quit them

I'm sure there was a study somewhere (though you can always find a study to back up any view) that shows that sheesha are around 10x worse than a cigerette. That said, I doubt many use them all hours of the day like a regular smoker.

Anyway, as a non-smoker, I'm okay with E-Cigarettes. Here in the UK the E-Cigarette is gaining quite a big following with many switching. This is mainly due to high cigarette prices (£7+ for a pack of 20) and a strict smoking ban in public places, including pubs and public transport.

I purchased and E-cig, used it for about 2 weeks before I went back to cigarettes... I dont know... just wasn't the same...

Since the smoking indoors ban here hit... they are a lot more prevalent in concert venues and baseball games... and places like that since you dont have to leave to smoke.

I actually like those a lot and much prefer them over traditional cigarettes.

Nothing replaces a nice hookah session, though. There's something about smoking out of that mysterious-looking vase and artsy stem. Well, I don't smoke hookah very often, maybe just once or twice a month.

I don't think people will mind. These electronic things give off a harmless and odorless (or a nice-smelling) water vapor rather than a choking smoke. If anything, you're helping freshen up the room.

My parents switched to the e-cig but found that it was irritating having to keep replacing the flavor cartridges and the batteries didn't last long.
So they found someone local that actually was the mixologist that supplied the juices to some of the retail stores in Virginia, and he set them up with a cigarette that looks more like a cigar, but the battery is huge compared to the other. These also come with refillable tanks, so they can order 30ml bottles (or more depending on the flavor) and refill their own cigarette as needed. This ended up being more economical in the long run.
They have not smoked a regular cigarette in almost 2 years now. And they actually have made a hobby of choosing different flavors and trying to come up with new ones as well. The favorites at the moment for them are Fuji-Apple-Pear; Girl Scouts Thin Mint, Banana Pineapple, and Chocolate Mocha.
And while they still have the nicotine, they no longer have the tar and carcinogens that are in a real cigarette. As someone else mentioned, they only release water vapor and depending on what the flavor is, they smell great.

And while my parents aren't really trying to quit anymore because they actually are enjoying these, they have cut down from 30mg of nicotine (same amount in a Marlboro Red), they are now down to 10mg of nicotine (which equates to around an ultra-light or less). Besides that, nicotine on its own is about as dangerous as caffeine...and as long as their doctors approve, then they are fine.
In fact, my dad had a massive heart attack and 3 stints put in right when they started to smoke the e-cigs. These are so much better than real cigarettes that my dad was actually allowed to smoke the e-cigs in the hospital after his surgery.

Nicotine is its pure form is extremely toxic. So much so that is has found use as a rodent killer. The LD50 of nicotine is 50 mg/kg for rats and 3 mg/kg for mice. 30–60 mg (0.5–1.0 mg/kg) can be a lethal dosage for adult humans.[6][69] Nicotine therefore has a high toxicity in comparison to many other alkaloids such as cocaine, which has an LD50 of 95.1 mg/kg when administered to mice. Nicotine has also been connected to cancer. Nicotine as a mitogenic stimulus for pancreatic acinar cell proliferation (http://www.wjgnet.com/1007-9327/full/v12/i46/7428.htm). While e-cigs most certainly are better than traditional nicotine is considerably more dangerous than caffeine. The LD50 of caffeine in humans is dependent on individual sensitivity, but is estimated to be about 150 to 200 milligrams per kilogram of body mass or roughly 80 to 100 cups of coffee for an average adult. The amount of nicotine you will get in cigs traditional or electronic is well below the dangerous amount. JUst dont let kids or pets get a hold of the fluid or dont apply multiple patches and you should be fine apart from the carcinogenic risk.

I received an e-cig for my birthday several months ago and haven't bought a pack of cigs since. i'm not trying to quit and this IS the future of smoking in my opinion. It's basically nicotine and water vapor and the only safe alternative (As far as nicotine itself being carcinogenic idk, I'm no doctor but i believe all that came from the materials in a cig being combusted.) Anyone who's even remotely health conscious knows which to choose. I have absolutely no desire to smoke a regular cig ever again. No unpleasant odor, no second-hand, no anything but a nic-buzz that lasts as long as you want it to. I buy the 30 ml bottles at the highest nicotine concentrations i can find (24 mg/ml) and i'm totally satisfied while spending a fraction of what i would on cigs (around 1/5th estimated including start up costs. haven't crunched the numbers. It also depends on vaping habits) and encourage any and all smokers to make the switch. Besides some routine cleaning there's no upkeep. And yeah, if you burn out a cartomizer you gotta drop a ten on a pack of new ones but as far as that goes my advice is "keep that sultry wench wet" if you know what i mean. Also for those who smoke other, slightly more dubious substances, they make the same thing to burn hash oil although i cant attest to its healthiness over traditional means. no comment on the hookah though. if you prefer smoking because of the traditional flavor and all that goodness, I say "right on" its your body and your call. I'm just providing useful info. I hope at least. And yes, nicotine is a toxin and we all know why toxins are called such, I hope anyways so don't drink the e-liquid lolz (around $20 U.S.D./ 30ml bottle). Hope the info helped and happy vaping or smoking, whatever you do.

E-cigarettes.... well if someone is already smoking then I guess it doesn't matter, but if they are trying to quit I don't think it would really help them.

Hookah-Pens seems like a modern day Joe Camel (i.e., a way to sell cigarettes to kids). "Hey kids want to look cool, but can't get your parents to buy you real cigarettes? No problem here are some 100% safe fruit flavored water vapor pens (with some nicotine) that make you look as cool as a real smoker! These babies will hold you over until you are old enough to buy real cigarettes!"

I'm all for the e-cigs. I don't and never have tried smoking, but if you're going to partake in the habit, at least be considerate of the rest of us who don't want ourselves and our young kids to get poisoned (exposed to cancer causing/asthma irritating 2nd hand smoke) and smoke an e-cig. I'm also sick of seeing (and having to clean up) all the f*ck*ng cigarette butts trashing the parks, roads, beaches,......and my yard.

On a side note.....did any of you hear about that makeshift e-cig some guy tried & it blew up on his face? Crazy.

I use a Lavatube~ smoked 2 packs a day Marlboro reds for about 15 years before, get tobacco flavored to start it helps and zeus ejuice is awesome. If lavatube too pricey for ya look at vaporkings they have several good 510 threaded models and pyrex cart's.. Smoking on a cinnamon/tobacco I mixed myself right now. Ehh, and for concerts you can always attach a Atmos Bullet to it...

I love being able to breathe and not smell like ciggs first time ive quit since bootcamp a long ass time ago..not planning to give up the nicotine tho.. Had to give up caffeine gluten and dairy im keeping my crutch. ;p

i use e-cigs, but the one i have doesn't look like a real cigarette. I use it because I'm a smoker and i wanted a healthier option, because most medically endorsed stuff don't work on this matter but this does, your basically replacing it.

They are good but it depends which one you get and there are no regulation on them because your not using tobacco, most smoking laws are towards burning tobacco, so you can use them anywhere and everywhere without a worry.

If you're not a smoker DO NOT get one. Its not designed for that its designed for smokers. And I'm not endorsing smoking either.

If you want more information on e-cigs, then give me a PM.
