Y'all clearly never tried the Japanese dark chocolate Kit Kats. THE greatest crunchy chocolate snack of all time. Especially after you let them sit in the freezer. *drool*

I love pocky, but it's overrated. There are some better Japanese snacks out there.

I ate those too! I used to eat the chocolate off first and then eat the biscuit part. or in reverse. Childhood days = Pepero and those (named differently in Korean)

I love Pocky, especially Straberry Tsubu Tsubu flavor. I've never had Mikado, though. However, my favorite is Hello Panda (Strawberry flavor).

And I of course love Ramune. My local grocery store sells Pocky, Hello Panda, and Ramune, but not the Tsubu Tsubu flavor of Pocky. Have to get that from Asian markets. I've also had the Choco Banana, which is good too.

I've had another one called Yan Yan (you dip the sticks in the cream), but I don't like it as much.

Both are just over-priced chocolate biscuits in stick form. Nothing to write home about, one or two is nice and then they start getting sickly, like churros.

Mikado is Pocky renamed and manufactured in Europe and the recipe is changed slightly to suit the different market tastes. It's easier to find and usually cheaper, with less flavour varieties.

My friend is obsessed though, she goes into Asian supermarkets and buys boxes and boxes of Pocky.

It's been a while since I've had a pocky... The strawberry ones have always been my favorite. I also like the green tea ones. They're so great. And the dark chocolate is only slightly bitter to me. I find it better than a dark chocolate candy bar. xD

Haven't heard of Mikado until now, I've had Pocky a few times before though. I like Pocky even though I'm not a big fan of dark chocolate, but if I tried Mikado I think I would like that more since it's Milk Chocolate.
