Hey guys,

So since moving to Germany my Attack on Titan no longer shows on my CR App, however i can stream it from the website.

How come i can do this and not watch it on my app?

Thanks

Go to the Contact Us page, scroll down near the bottom where it lists "Detected Country" and I'll wager it still shows the country you moved from.

If it does, it will likely recognize the change as soon as your login expires (or you log out and have to log in again), and you'll lose access to AoT (and the many other shows not available in Germany).

I'm considering setting up an account. In fact I already tried. Several times, and now I'm constantly emailed that "Finish your 14 day trial" even though it's actually supposed to be a full month trial according to the Xbox ad.

Anyway, typical european user that I am, I have no use for a credit card. For reasons completely bonker to me, I can't subscribe to the service via normal bank debit account. At least there's the option of PayPallll-no. It just refuses to let me pay for this! Won't even say why.
I tried that setup with various browsers, ..no-go.

No wonder you don't have that many german subscribers, you know? Hey, I need you to convince PayPal to accept crunchyroll for payments, or your service to open up and return to accepting debit account withdrawals, which I know that some people in the US wouldn't give a toss about, but this is the way the world works, over here. There has got to be a way to get past this. :(

For the time being, can somebody -please- make it stop sending me the "finish your 14 day trial setup mail!" email that I get every morning?

It looks like you need to have card coneted to paypal if you want to subscribe CR.
Anyway I use Rixity, there all you need to do is transfer money, but this method is a bit more expensive.

I haven't had a "credit" card for many years. What I have linked to my PayPal account is a debit card, and it works just fine (despite the fact it draws from the same bank account PayPal would be drawing from for my checking).

One way around the card requirement that I've heard of is via a gift membership, although apparently you can't gift to yourself. Technically CR bars having more than one account, which would also eliminate the route of setting up an account and using that to purchase a gift membership for your "normal" account.

I also have my debit card hooked up with Paypal. Anything I pay with Paypal is practically withdrawn from my bank account via debit. Same method :).

I sadly don't know a single other crunchyroll user personally, so no one would send me a gift membership. I'd hate be "special" like that anyway. If two out of three payment methods fail, then I stop looking for alternatives and remind this other party that I'm willing to pay, oh absolutely, "just take my money"-style. But it's they who have to clear the road, first.
