I'd like to learn Japanese. It's one of the most difficult languages and would be incredibly useful for anime/drama fans like myself.

Likewise! & I would also like to learn how to speak Korean and Russian.

My first languages were Hindi and Urdu. My third language is English. I know a little bit of Italian as well. Right now I'm in the process of learning Japanese (total newb). I want to perfect my Italian and then maybe learn Arabic.

Just out of curiosity, why Finnish? It's commonly listed as one of the hardest languages in the world (as a native, I can't judge this point objectively), has a small amount of people who speak it and it hasn't really spread anywhere, aside from some very, VERY small minorities.

Disclaimer, just to make things clear: I do not want to discourage you from learning it. Those factors just made me curious.

Honestly, the biggest reason is that I am a huge LOTR geek, and Finnish was a huge influence for Quenya, one of the Elvish languages. I also really like the sound of the language. I am not too worried about the difficulty, since I already am close to fluent in Japanese and can get by in Mandarin, which are two more language that frequently make the most difficult list (and Finnish is usually considered difficult due to its cases, and I already had an introduction to a fairly case-heavy language with Sanskrit, so it won't be something completely new to me). (If you couldn't tell, I'm a bit of a language geek).

I'm already bilingual in English and Chinese, and I don't think I like to learn another language again because I know I will never be fluent in the 3rd language as well as I'm with the first two.

I know it's cliche to say this on CR but I've always wanted to learn Japanese. One of my good friends started Japanese classes, so if i decide to pick it up I'll have someone to talk to in Japanese.

I've also wanted to learn German as well.

Ditto

Japanese for obvious reasons and German because I've been getting into German music.

I'm like half fluent in Spanish, so I should probably work on tidying that up.

I'm convinced the subtitles in the anime aren't translated fully in English, so it'd be nice to know Japanese too at some point. I guess I could chalk that up to not having proper words to properly compare to though, it happens a good bit in Spanish too.
