Japanese, but it's way difficult; besides the hiragana and katekana, the kanji are just impossible! And listening to countless anime isn't helping...

OMG I have taken 4 years of German and the last 2 have sucked - those cases and all of the annoying changes that happen for no logical reason. English is supposed to be a germanic language, so you would think it'd be easy, and it is to an extent, but I find that Japanese makes much more sense

Hm... I already know a ton of languages. I'm fluent in 3 (English, Russian, Mandarin), functional in 3 (Japanese, Cantonese, and Ukrainian), and learning 4 others (Polish, Korean, Burmese, and Uyghur).

I'd probably just become fully fluent in Japanese.

Also, I don't know why everyone keeps saying Japanese is one of the hardest languages to learn. Uh... No? Not even close. Japanese is a pretty mid-level language to work. The grammar makes sense and is generally simple (outside of things like counting particles... augh), and it's a language that's phonetics based, which is really easy to learn. Really, the only difficult thing is learning Kanji, which really isn't all that bad once you really 'get' it.

I'd love to study Japanese, I've been an otaku most of my life so I'd love to be able to speak it more fluidly and to enjoy my anime and drama series without subtitles one day.

More Japanese. Just started to practice Hiragana and Katakana readings. aiueo, ka ki ku ke ko, sa shi su se so. Other than speaking the language, I want to start learning to read it as well. It's a long road but it's very fun!

I mainly want to learn German so I can talk to a foreign exchange girl that came to my school one year. I have also always found German culture to be the most interesting thing, and Two of my best friends are German. I'd also like to know Spanish because of the way things are looking in America. lastly I would like to speak Japanese so I won't need subtitles anymore
