Heh, kinda true. Priorities have changed a ton from 10 years ago...especially since I have been married 9 of them now.
I care more about my family than I used to. You see them getting older too and you realize the time you have left is precious.
I care more about my husband than myself. I like to pride myself that I am not selfish, but I think I was definitely thinking more about myself when I first got married...and now, it is definitely a collaboration.
I care about my cats. My poor babies are getting old and I only have a few years left with them.

I love that I am starting to get credit again after I ruined it in my twenties!
I love that I may have my own house soon.
I love that I currently own two cars - that are in my name - that I paid for on my own!

I hate how much weight I have gained (holy hell...where did that 100 lbs come from!).
But I love that I don't really care how anyone looks at me except my husband - and he is happy and so am I.
I hated my job in the twenties. I sort of like to hate my job now...but I still don't know what I want to do when I grow up (teehee).
I hope in the next couple of years to add baby pictures for my Facebook friends too...that is my biggest wish.

I definitely think my thirties overall are better than my twenties. And I am always looking forward to tomorrow.

Thanks for the post, I can honestly say that my start of my late 20's to being 30 now were awesome. I used to hate the idea of getting older, but now I believe it is the age I was born to be lol if that makes any sense.

Haha that was hilarious! I prefer 20's but I'd say nowadays 20's is more like "17-27" Then 30's is "28 and up" But the baby part, DEFINITELY 20'S! Maybe if you run in good circles or I don't even know. But when I would look on Facebook everyone my age, younger or just a year or so earlier having BABIES, AFTER BABIES, AFTER BABIES! All over the feed...

I deleted Facebook because half of the people on my friends list, who are only same age as me (20s) kept posting pictures of THEIR FREAKING BABIES. I don't care how cute they are, the parents don't need to update their babies' pictures every 10 seconds.

30s were AWESOME. 40s have been a trip. Amazing stuff happens when you hit your 40s.

The only amazing stuff I got in my 40's were aches & pains. ...... that and everyone fears me and kisses my ass.

I prefer my 20's. I only wish I had taken more advantage of it (lived it up more) than I did (damn sense of responsibility/morality ) My 30's were bittersweet (really busy), I spent it raising 4 kids (still am) and trying to steal a bit of "me time" & "us time" (with hubby) here & there. The fun part is sneaking around & being creative, it reminds me of our teen years. Now that I just begun my 40's, I'm all over the place. Some days I want to live it up like I'm in my 20's and do some crazy stuff, and some days I'm tired physically, emotionally, & mentally. The worst part about getting older is that your body begins to betray you. Although you may have the mind of a 20 yr old, your body cruelly reminds you that you aren't.

I turn the 4 zero in 10 days, but I have to say that my thirties beat my twenties 10 fold, it has been the greatest time of my life, lets see what the next 10 years have in store.

None of the 20's ones apply to me, and a few of the 30's ones apply to me. I'm 21.
