So I'm about to start watching One Piece for the 18th time. It's my favorite series and I've yet to tire of it. The question I ask is : What are your top 3 anime you can watch over and over, from start to finish? Old or new. Attack on Titan is for sure the one for this year.

My top 3 are...

One Piece
FMA : Brotherhood
Detective Conan

I'm the type of person who cannot watch something twice. It's boring for me to know what's going to happen next.

But the exceptions, as with any rules, are:

- Hayao Miyazaki's works: Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke
- Lucky Star
- Cuticle Detective Inaba, watched episode 11 three times now.
- Ixion Saga DT

- Final Fantasy 8: Played this 3 times, story is just too awesome, that's the most amount of time I play any game (that's not arcade/tetris).

If I'm being honest,

K-On! - re-watching this for the fifth time and it's still bringing me the kiiis.
Initial D - saw it for the 2nd time last week and it was still as good as when I first watched it a year ago
Natsume Yuujinchou - easily one of the anime with highest re-watch value. I can see myself marathoning this yearly tbh

I tend to rewatch unconventional sports anime quite a bit; so Saki, Hikaru no Go, Akagi, and Chihayafuru.

Two others would be Hyouka, and the movie Sword of the Stranger. But in general I have a hard time rewatching something that's plot-centric once I've seen it unless I just want miscellaneous background noise.

In those instances I'll probably put in either of the Rebuild of Evangelion movies, Paprika, Ghost in the Shell (any of, depending on my mood), Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade, or Haibane Renmei (if I'm feeling introspective).

I used to rewatch Serial Experiments Lain quite a bit, until I more or less gave up on really understanding it.

And there are also parts of SAO's first cour that I can go back and rewatch any time I just want to relax.

1) Cardcaptor Sakura.

2) Clannad.

3) ...I dunno if I can choose a third, none of them are really clear-cut. >_>

I've seen the Miyazaki films quite a few times and have watched High School of the Dead twice. I don't really rewatch shows too often as I am always wanting to watch other shows as well.

I can almost count Kimi ni Todoke since I read the manga then watched the anime. So, I have experienced the story twice.

Probably....

Ghost in the shell Stand Alone Complex and 2nd gig'
Oreimo - probably 1st season only, we'll see how it ends.
Spice and Wolf

The Evangelion movies are very re-watchable too in my opinion.
