Just got my nexus 10 and I can only use the app, due to flash no longer being available. I tried the app out and noticed the anime wasn't in HD. I don't really have a usable computer otherwise I'd use it instead. My only method of watching anime is my nexus 10, ps3, Google internet TV, and my nook color which I just replaced with my nexus 10. However, the nook color has flash and is able to stream in at least 720p using the website. It's unbelievable that my nexus 10 cannot play anime at HD. I have OCD about this because I spoiled myself by only watching stuff in HD religiously. Does the app not have HD currently or what? If I have to use my nook color instead, my nexus has lost quite a bit of value to me. Although, I do have the play store and what not but still. No HD anime on my nexus is just terrible. I have exceptions, like Gurren Lagann, but if a shown is available in HD in the site but streams in SD on the app, it will bother me.

Attached my Nexus Galaxy via MHL to my TV. It has always been stocked to 480p with the Android app.

I heard that they are working on something for it. Though, I have not heard anything too current.

My iPhone plays it in HD.

Also, it's worth noting that the lower the resolution of the screen, the less-noticeable HD is.

Unfortunately, it doesn't. The iPhone app streams at a max of 480p, which is still in the SD range.

You can still get the flashplayer APK off adobe here http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html
The only thing I find difficult is getting it to go fullscreen reliably, since adobe abandoned the software support is poor and you might need to test a few browsers.

Just downloaded Adobe from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1774336 on my Note 10.1
I chose this option (NEW 11/06/2013)Download the file flash_player version 11.1.115.63 : http://d-h.st/EdI and downloaded it directly with my phone/tablet
Download it and turn off your security option to verify, install it from your download app.

If you can open the app then it will work with the default internet browser

I've been using it on my Note II and now my tab .. works like a charm with all the flash sites that I have used.
I prefer to use the CR app personally only missing landscape mode for browsing before watching
