I would love an anime that had something to do with every (major) country. With said anime, the studio would use native speakers from each country to dub the language.

What I had in mind was black lagoon on steroids.

All of Hetalia.

Huh, this is the first I heard of it. After seeing the first episode I must say that it's pretty good. Genevieve Simmons does a great job as Urabe. Josh Grelle is okay as Tsubaki, although he sounds a little bit older than he should, at least I think so.

I'd prefer to never see an anime dub for the rest of the time I enjoy watching it.

Honestly, I thought it was common knowledge that english dubs are terrible. The only good dubs I have came across was Fruit Basket and Kaleido Star...

What about Baccano, Cowboy Bebop and Ghost in The Shell?

I usually dislike dubs, but I'd add Afro Samurai. That dub was insanely good.

And I've heard good things about Hellsing Ultimate, but I wouldn't know for sure since I stuck to the sub.

I'm weird when it comes to dubbing. If it is an older anime show where the first time I watched it was in an english dub i tend to prefer the english dub over japanese with subtitles. For instance, cowboy beebop,Dbz, yu yu hakusho, rourini kenshi, inuyasha, basically the popular anime I watched on tv. Yet if it's something I watched in japanese subtitles first like naruto, durarara, bacano, and D gray man, I prefer the japanese subtitles. I guess i just associate the voice I've heard predominantly with the character and when it differs it is off putting to me. The worst offender is the voice for Naruto in english and second would be monkey even though I haven't watched a lot of One piece in all honesty.

All!

If you don't like a dub, don't watch it...

It's not like someone is holding a gun to your head forcing you to.

It's a fallacy to assume: if you don't like dubs, you watch dub anime.

I would like to point out that dubs cost money, and that money then can't be used to license more subs. But I don't really have reason to complain - folks in England are much worse off with their available anime selection than the US.

Nobody is asserting that's the case...we're simply answering the question...

If you don't like that we dislike dubs, nobody is putting a gun to your head to have to defend dubs by saying nobody is putting a gun to our head forcing us to watch them.

Derrrrrherrrr.

Hmm, the rest of the 'a certain' series would be nice (yes its being done, i just want it quicker). say I love you might be ok with a dub but I dont think that with the current VA tallent in the west we would capture the characters properly.

Obviously a monogatari dub would be pretty fantastic but I just dont think that show can possibly work in english, oh and a good EVA dub would be nice.

Yeah... I honestly can't even begin to imagine that working. It'd be like fingerpainting the Sistine Chapel.
