I wont go out of my way just to kill insects but when the ants make it their goal to over-run my house i'm breaking out the poison...

They usually don't if you don't leave traces of food on the floor or something.

My house has allot of small openings that easily let bugs inside... trust me, keeping my place immaculate is a must.

Normally I don't feel anything as long as I don't hear anything

yes, except for cockroaches, they need to die.

Why? Roaches are highly evolved.

because my very first apartment was infested, and one got into my bed, and since then, they must all die.

I'll kill any bug that crawls on me or gets into my house. No mercy. No remorse. No regrets. They just freak me out.

Plus it would be sort of hypocritical for me to get all upset about killing a bug before sitting down to a nice steak dinner . . .

I don't kill bugs even though I want to, only because I have a really bad phobia for bugs. I never really minded squishing bugs with my bear hands as a child. But as I grew older I became scared of them, I don't know why that is.

I remember as a kid when I started grade school, I would cringe looking at images of bugs in a picture book. There was this one time where I actually knock the book out of my hand because I was so freaked out. Even now I hide under the covers if there is a fly buzzing around my room. I guess this is their way of getting back at me.

Of course I feel guilty, especially if they are pregnant. I believe all lifeforms have a right to live as humans do.

People justify their killing of insects because they live for 1 week, but it shouldn't matter. I mean our lifespan in comparison to the age of the universe is also nothing.
I never thought of it that way

I felt guilty after killing a spider

Well here's the thing. If I'm lying in my bed and all of a sudden Mr. Cuddlebug wants to snuggle on the side of my leg I have every right to kill that bastard because it's invading my space. Yet if I were walking outside and saw a bug just chillin' and being creepy I wouldn't kill it because that's his space. It's not violating my leg like that last asshole bug, it's just you know...being a bug and stuff, enjoying its day, doing what bugs do.

And that everyone, was philosophy with LosingOrbit.

I hate roaches, centipedes, milipedes, and CERTAIN spiders, the big crunchy ones, and poisonous ones.
And seriously, I love honey, but bee's and wasps need to stay far away from my house.
I've NEVER felt bad about killing wasps or bee's (Except a bumble bee, it was so sad ;-; but it needed to die )

I fear that killing a bug will eventually lead to some kind of uprising vengeance of some sort. So the next time you kill a bug, remember...there's plenty more where they came from. And if they find you...they will attempt to harm you.

Only rarely do I particularly feel remorse. Most recently, I sprayed a spider with poison, because I couldn't identify it and thought that it might be dangerous. Since I couldn't confirm it's species, I punished myself by watching it die. In the end, I felt horrible about it's death taking so long (over 3 minutes passed), so I delivered a mercy blow. Strangely, I find it's struggle to stay alive to be fascinating, despite my remorse. I was so awestruck that I gave it the best salute that I can muster.
