So I've kinda noticed that there are a lot of albinos or people with albino traits in anime. In fact, even albinism awareness sites have posted about how common albinism is in anime and manga:
http://www.albinism.org/popcult/anime_manga.htm

So why do you think that this is? Coincidence?

Also, post some pictures of who you think are albino characters.

Suigintou from Rozen Maiden

Ginkou from Mushishi

Coincidence? What?
Why does it... matter?

Coincidence, anime characters are known to have whacky hair colors. The characters I believe are albinio are from Nabari, and apparently all of them are immortal.

I'm pretty sure this white-haired guy from Cuticle Detective Inaba is albino, it's sort of implied in the series... (vulnerability to sunlight which is one of the issue associated with albinism, no the anime's not about vampires -_-;).

Hmm... Ginko has green eyes, doesn't he? XD

Actually, he got them because

So technically, he's not an albino, but Lag Seeing is!

don't think those 2 are actually albino in i believe it was more like accelerators (he reflected all the UV rays that cause hair pigmentation ) case for those 2 seeing as they both live in space if the ships didn't block UV radiation u'd be dead pretty quickly so it does and then when raised in that environment there is no stimulus for the hair to change color
