I love anime, and i like mmorpg's, ive played a couple but i always feel like there's something missing. So im looking for a new anime mmorpg. Lets discuss the ones we've already played and think about which anime mmorpg, currently, is the best, really good, or was just a fail.

Its not the original click, and ya character can do the rest kind of game, you actually have to play and dodge, and attack at all times. You guys should really try it. YES you can also jump, they have mounts pets, exp events, cut scenes and the graphics are beautiful!

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn... If you don't think it's anime well it's being developed by Japanese.

Elsword can be pretty fun, and it's got an action combat system. Also Dungeon Fighter Online is great.

The best anime mmo would have to be Mabinogi, which is distributed by Nexon.

Pros
• Skill system
The game is very open an allows you to build whatever type of character you want. For example on one character you can have some magic skills, sword skills and archer skills. This means that your character can have whatever abilities you wish it to have.

• Ability to Rebirth
Mabinogi has a feature called rebirthing. Essentially every three weeks it allows you to have your character be recreated. When a character is recreated or rebirthed it resets its experience level but keeps the stat it has gained. This means you no longer have to struggle to level from, lets say, 80 to 81. Because once you rebirth you are back at level one but are able to keep the stats that come with leveling your character.

• Combat System
The combat system is different from many mmo's and offers some variety. In mabinogi you are not locked to one monster trading blows but instead you are to use your skills to dodge, block and attack so the enemy can not lay a hand on you.

• Character Customization
The amount of customizations in regards to your characters look is practically limitless. This allows you to create a character that is different from everyone else's or if you are feeling creative make your character look like your favorite anime character.

• Events and new content
The mabinogi staff are always creating new events for people to do. There is at least 3 events every month, if not more. It also is constantly getting updates, such as new mounts, new cloths, new features and new quests. In fact the main storyline is still being updated with new quests.

Cons?
• Learning curve
There can be a steep learning curve because the game is very unique it can be hard for new players to grow accustom to it.
Thankfuly though the game's comunity is very helpful to new players and their is an extensive Wiki at http://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/ which can help show you how to do a quest to find where things are to tell you what something is.

• It is not your average MMO
Mabinogi is very unique in that it does not tell you what to do, it is a fantasy life setting. This means that you do whatever you want to do. If you want to grind to level you can grind. If you want to do quests you can do quests there are more than enough. If you want to just do skill training you can just do skill training. There is so much to do in mabinogi it does not set you on a rail and hope you can make it to the end. it puts you in a open world and allows you to do whatever you want to do.

This is only a short overview of what mabinogi is It does not do it justice though because the game is just so well made and has so many features. Best advice for new players is to find a guild early on to help you understand the game and answer any questions you have.

When it comes to anime mmos, I'm looking forward to Lime Odyssey. It's only in beta right now, but it looks to be decent.

I remember having a fun time on Eden Eternal and especially Elsword.

I still play Elsword, am only a few away from level cap. My character is Xanthea, I'd like to help out any newbies if you need it!

Recently, my other MMO is Runes of Magic. Though it isn't anime, it is very addicting.
