so when a person rates anime, they come to a consensus with plot/story/animation/visuals/characters/etc... to give it the the final score. If this was out of 10, the visuals/animations alone would give this anime a 9, that is how good the visuals and animations is.

finally had a chance to watch it.

I can say not a lot will like this kind becuase its basically a melodramatic movie . HOwever since Makoto Shinkai made this movie, I always love his style and imagery and the quality of his animation.

I can say I really enjoyed watching this 45 min movie.

I will eventually buy the Bluray of this one to add to my Shinkai collection.

I am sooooo looking forward to this! I had no idea it was only 45 minutes though. I guess if that's all the story he had to tell, it is better that he kept it short and sweet.

I love it, just like I love all of the Shinkai movies.(Except Lost Voices, too Ghibli.)

Plus it looks beautiful.

Lost Voices was different but the first thing my hubby said when he saw it , "that looked like Miyazaki's" work lol .

Takayo Nishimura was the lead character designer and the animation process in other words the key animation director ...He did the 5 cm per second character design too but for some reason Lost Voices had a lot of Miyazaki stylized characters.

So I wonder if he worked for Miyazaki before.

It was a very beautiful movie, plot and art wise.
There was many times I thought maybe they had taken pictures from a real park or that it was CGI :P

well the way Shinkai works , he will use actual pictures , that they took on location and then do his blending style of CG animation
