Hi!

Playback, for just about every video for me, is fuzzy. I play videos on 1080p and used to get great quality; now the quality is... it's not bad, but there's a bit of fuzz that I think there shouldn't be.

This problem started as recently as 2-3 weeks ago. It probably started after I upgraded from Verizon FiOS to FiOS Quantum; but it's increased internet speed, so I don't see how that would translate to worse quality...

Attack on Titan actually still looks really good, but I'm not sure why.

I checked the stickies but there don't appear to be any solutions.

And here is a Speedtest result for SanFran: [URL=http://www.speedtest.net]

Don't ever recall having a faster upload speed than download, though.

Can you try right clicking on the Flash player and toggling Video Smoothing on / off to see if that makes a difference?

Unfortunately it was already on, and turning it off/on did not appear to chance the picture.

Do you happen to be on Mac and are you using Chrome? There seems to be a know issue with the current release of chrome where you can't enable/use hardware acceleration for Flash using the built-in plugin.

I had this issue pop up as well but after disabling the built-in Flash plugin on Chrome and switching to the dedicated Flash plugin hardware acceleration is back and the vid quality is back to what it used to be.

I bet you pause the video before going to full screen? If you are just let it play while you go to full screen. For some reason the player fails to format correctly if you pause before full screen. Let me know if that helps.

I'm having the same exact problem, and it started 2-3 weeks ago just like it did for OP.

Really sucks. =/

If you're using Chrome I think that might be the issue. If I watch a video on Chrome it has issues but with IE it looks perfectly fine. Not sure why that's happening but I hope it helps.

Can you try right clicking the Flash Player and toggling 'Subtitle Smoothing' to see if that resolves the issue?
