Recording piracy video is illegal everywhere in the world.. You can't expect people to let you off just because you're a foreigner in their countries.

No sympathy dude. It was stupid to try to pirate a film from a theater and I'll blame people like you for the murder of anime. You are lucky you did not get stuck in a Japanese jail even though it would've been completely fair if you did.

Seems like a lot of trouble just for Dragon Ball Z. You are several years too late, Hollywood and their international equivalents have convinced most places to pass some sort of law specifically against bootlegging in addition to ones covering piracy. If you tried this say around 10 years ago they probably would have just asked you to leave, now it's actually a criminal offense.

BTW Japan may bar you from entering the country again for 10 years or more if you get in legal trouble. Also good judge confessing on the site you have an affiliation with.

I have the feeling that the FBI has already traced his IP and is remotely scanning his computer for pirated materials as we speak.

You sat in a movie theatre and bootlegged the entire DBZ movie in HD, and yet, somehow, you're surprised that you were arrested by the police?

This seriously has to be one of the stupidest things I've ever read. It's like you thought they'd be thanking you for pirating the movie. And now you're gloating about how you managed to avoid serving prison time?

It's one thing to delude yourself about the merits of piracy when you're in the United States, not having to face the scrutiny of the original Japanese artists and police --- but to actually bring that mindset to Japan and blatantly pirate a movie in one of their public theaters?

Now I understand why Japanese artists would like to see certain smug pirates face various constructive forms of death.

roflmao although i agree with your point, i find it extremely ironic this is coming from the guy with the world's future pirate king as his profile picture xD

Chances are Japan never lets him back in the country. Even if you are just suspected of a crime, they often would rather not have you back. I hope it was worth it because now you'll never be allowed back.

Here is a story about a guy who got in trouble when he was 14 and because of that, he was barred from Japan. Simple fact is they don't want to take any chances with people who might commit a crime. I can't say I blame them. After all, I wouldn't let a criminal in my house. I doubt many of us would either.
