I hate the typical assholes when it comes to Hollywood and book/manga/anime adaptions. Have you seen the movie yet? No. I must say that if there is a live-action for AoT, I will have low expectations. But at least with Hollywood, I can expect some cool action sequences.

That poster looks hype. Interesting take on the titan....whoever does try to adapt, it will be difficult either way.

I'm very interested as to how they are going to manage to make the Titans look like the Titans in the anime. Not going to be too hyped up for this due to my past experience with the live version of DBZ.

I would see it just to see how they would do this. I never watch live-action movies because they almost always suck to me *cough cough Death Note cough cough*.

Woah, what now? Last time I checked, people LIKE the DeathNote movies!

I definitely like them, and find them to be an anime adaptation done well. Most of my problems come from the second movie feeling rushed (one being to compress down the Yotsuba/SakuraTV arc), that because of that it should have extended to 3 movies instead of two, and the other task force members not getting a lot characterization as they did in the original story.

Other than that though, I was fine with everything else and was ok with the changes of everything else.

So what am I missing?

I agree, death note was pretty good as an adaption and is the only one I can accept unless someone makes another one with same Japanese setting (kenichi will always be the live action L to me!) but maybe thrown in some LA settings just for the Near and Mello appearances. (Don't even wanna see a hollywood version though...)
Too bad japan live action movie lack the lighting techniques and cgi (those costs really expansive) cuz I think it will enhance the quality of the film appearance.
And I've actually seen good Japanese acting movies, contrary to what many are claiming.
Although it might be rather difficult to have a live action AoT just cuz I'm trying to imagine westerners acting like anime...not really gonna work
And if they changed it into more hollywood style I think it just completely loses the feel of the anime story.
