I need some help with this certain predicament that I find myself in, and I would be very grateful to any feedback pertaining to it whatsoever.

I guess to start this off I'll give a little bit of information to summarize this. I'm 19 years old living with my mom, I've never had a job, I don't have my high school diploma, no drivers license, no bank account, I live in my room and rarely ever leave.

I've pretty much tried my best to cut off all communication with people in life because I fear socializing with people, I can't look people in the eyes, IF I speak it's usually 1-3 words a nod or "Mhm".

In school I always sat in the back of class and slept throughout pretty much every class excluding gym unless it was health. I had 70 absences in my two last period classes because I went home during lunch and stayed home mostly because I hated the atmosphere of buses more than I hated school.

I have 8692 hours (362 days) played on an MMORPG called Fly For Fun that I accumulated during Grades 9 through 12 and 140 days played on Call of Duty World at War & Modern Warfare 2 during the same time frame.

I'm at the point where I'm getting asked about my future from my family too often that I want to finish school, acquire a job, so that I can live by myself and be left alone. The major problem is that I can't get myself to do this because I find it extremely difficult to communicate with people in person.

I would begin by seeking professional help.

Honestly you need to get out. Getting a job is a good step, even if its only something small. Get to know other people and you will get better with socializing with others. It may sound blunt but if it is important to you then you will find a way, if its not then you will find an excuse. This probably isn't the answer you were looking for, but you need to push yourself into getting out of your comfort zone.

So, although this is considered a "personal" thread, and will be closed, I'm going to offer you my advice :3

Seek some professional guidance/help, there's programs out there who will help you find jobs that are easy for you to do. Even anti-socialist jobs. It might be custodial at night, when there's no people around. Doing overnight security. Something along those lines. But they will help you look. Around my city there's Rochester Works & Rochester Rehab that both help people look for "specified" work. Look around your city, I'm sure something exists, if it's a smaller town though, just look for overnight security jobs, or custodial work, or perhaps something else you might be interested in. A lot of office jobs don't require a ton of communication either.

Although I'd recommend one where you have to talk to people OCCASIONALLY, it might help break you out of your shell :3

I wish you luck! Cheers ^_^
