Ok, so here's my issue. My anime series tracking site, which happened to also be tangential fansubbing site (blah blah blah wire.com) suddenly disappeared. And no other site that I can find has a database that is nearly as comprehensive and easily navigated while also tracking my series. So I fell back on a countdown site on mangadragon...but now that's dead. Can someone help me find a new site to track my nerd hobby? I don't have time to cruise ANN to find out what series are coming out and when they air and where I can watch it without pirating it.

Because otherwise I'm limited to what they throw on here and hulu. And I don't like to miss stuff like that. So I just need a site that at the very least lists each seasons full catalog, and if/who subs it and streams it. That way if their not legally issued I can pirate the first few eps to decide if it's worth the money for the dvds.

And before people accuse...yes, if i pirate the first 3-5 episodes and I'm hooked, I will wait till they hit DVD and order em to see the rest of the series.

I can't help you with tracking illegal fansubs, but this site does an excellent job listing out each anime season (legally) and the releases:

- Anichart [http://anichart.net]

They also note who might be legally streaming it or who owns the digital rights. While looking at a listing for a new series, click the "More Info" link and that'll give you information about who owns the rights, digital rights, legal streaming, etc..

Mind you, there are no algos on this site that'll recommend stuff or keep track of your viewing habits. It's just a breakdown of each season. They don't list illegal fansubbers or illegal streaming sites. Obviously there are sites and blogs that track all that as well. There are fairly comprehensive fansub databases available for each season. Everything on the Internet is collated.

Hope that helps. Cheers.

I use http://myanimelist.net/ to keep track of anime both on and not on CR. Not sure how much this site helps you. Nothing on fansub groups and stream sites there.

I use www.anime-planet.com. Tells me nothing about streaming and fansubs etc.

Really interactive, lately they've been sometimes slow at adding anime. I mean, it took around 4 months to add Encouragement of Climb to the list... But it's still a good site~!
