That's a great idea but it costs a lot.

I would say that it is a good idea to look into doing the rotary exchange. my sister is on an exchange this year to Austria. The Rotary is a good program to get into for high school students since it is a year long exchange and the college exchange is only a few weeks.

um...thats not even close to realistic.
most exchange programs can cost anywhere from $3000-$12000 (USD) and if it does ever get up to 12000, then that program probably isnt even worth it

Junior year??? Isn't that when you supposed to be either taking your APs or IBs? School wise, it is not a good time to be traveling abroad unless you really don't care too much about your workload. I'd advise you to do it in college or senior year of high school (then again some people's senior year is just as bad as their junior year). There are more opportunities available in college and more choices too.

But its up to you in the end.

Actually at my school Junior is probably the easiest. Its Freshmen and Sophmore years that suck.

really? That's the year we have to take SATs...and you know how painful they are. (luckily, right now I'm just a freshie)
