Yeah, just stop caring what everybody thinks or expects from a human being. Screw society, man. That's how I learned to love myself. I just stopped giving a fuck. I'm unique, and I like who I am.

Remember something, too. This quote really helped me: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Not what the media/society deems it as.

Self confidence is built by being true to yourself and not taking yourself too seriously. Humility, as in beng earnest, humble and honest is a building block as well. Challenging yourself is quintisential to the formula....... oh! and of course remember that failure is an opportunity for growth. A set back is just a set up for a come back. Pretty soon your accomplishments will begin to stack up and you will realize your unique value. Go on with your bad self!

Don't listen to this guy, the thing you're ACTUALLY looking for is Spinach. Drink lots and drink lots of Spinach and you'll be able to win the heart of Olive Oyl, and teach Bluto a lesson.

You'll be strong to the finich because you eat your spinach! (like Popeye the sailor man)

As someone with low self-esteem and confidence, my advice to gain confidence in yourself is to try to talk to people as much as you can. I know this is difficult for people with low confidence but you'll find that after more conversations you have, the more confidence you'll have in yourself.

Be sure to practise your conversations with either yourself or a really close friend who will help you.

Exercise was always a big one for me, the better I got physically, the better I felt mentally so that would boost my self-confidence through the roof.

In order to gain self-confidence, get a job. You start raking in the dough, and feeling more sure of yourself.

Something you can do more than many others. Talents or anything like that. I get self confidence when I play piano since I'm above the average and much more. If not that maybe something that is interesting for you. This is very individual for everyone...

It'll come with age. Why rush things? Live life one moment at a time.

There's no point of stressing yourself out.

Confidence is one of those things where it takes time and maturity; reading what people say on the internet isn't going to give you any confidence. Or doing any sort of activity.

It requires a mature mind.

I'm 24, and I'm still feeling awkward at times. But I can say, compared to the me 6 years ago, I am way more confident now. But I still feel shy and scared.

When I was 18, I would never ever see myself a teacher, I was terribly scared of speaking in front of others. But here I am, a teacher.

Right now I am so scared of giving lectures to 100 people, but who knows, in 20 years time, I'll probably be standing in a lecture hall... you just have to give yourself some time.
