Ahh, I liked to play it, but I don't have the money for a 3Ds. My twin says he would lent his to me, but for like 5 dollars.
And I am waaaay to cheep to give him 5 dollars every time I want to play, which is every day!

I recently got my copy and have become addicted to it. In the past few weeks I have already spent over 60 hours playing just doing the daily things you can in this game. Like earning emotions and finding the money rock. I love this game which is weird because I played previous installments in the franchise and became bored of them in minutes. But here is my friend code 3695-0535-4941! If you want to visit my town we can play on the island together and share fruit!

Like Mikenkanikal, I almost regretted buying New Leaf because I remember getting bored of WW (never got bored of the GC ver though), however New Leaf is totally different. WW is very watered down, while New Leaf brings back old stuff and has a lot of new features. Lately, it's all I've been playing (I put down the new Harvest Moon game for it, but hope to pick it up again some day, New Leaf is just too good!).

I've had New Leaf for a while since I have the Japanese ver., which came out sooner. My husband plays on my copy as well. PM me if you want to connect! FC Code 0087-2501-6266. Also, if you want to check out my town via dream mode, 3900-0609-8018.

I don't actually have AC for one reason.
I already have AC for the Gamecube and I'd just feel bad buying another one. It'll feel like I'm ditching my old town. I see so many people play it and a lot of my friends play it as well. I feel like I'm missing out >.<
I don't know what to do!!
if someone can help I'd really appreciate it

You don't have to ditch anything. You can have both and enjoy and play them equally. Each offers it's own pros and cons. I'm still playing the original Animal Crossing ten years later, but I'm also enjoying Wild World, City Folk, and New Leaf just as much. It's really no different than purchasing the next Pokémon game. Just go for it and enjoy yourself.

I've played it a lot. The bug island "exploit" does make it way too easy, though. You can earn 400,000 or more each visit. Then again, that's probably a good thing since when I played the GC version, I never had any hope of getting anywhere.

I've had it since day one, but I've really struggled to get into it. I like the idea, but...

I can't commit my pleasure time for more chores =/ It just doesn't do it for me.
