Totally agree with you there. Do you ever have an issue where you want to watch an anime but then u don't want to be disappointed either so you keep putting it off as long as possible?

I know what you mean x3. What about when you start an anime, but you put it off because you don't want it to end?

OMG yes!!! That is how it was when I was watching Vividred Operation. I got to episode 10 then did not want to see the last 2 because I knew it would be the end............and by any chance do you go to Tekkoshocon? I saw you are from Pittsburgh ~~

When you first started watching anime and you would call everything kawaii and desu and all cats were nekos and you called yourself an otaku and cursed your non-japanese heritage

"PHOTOSYNTHESIS!", Hetalia cosplay, DBZ cosplay, I don't want to say anything rude, but yes x3. I saw some Touhou and a Miku that failed to look the part. Still it was fun!

Haha, I know exactly what you are talking about. I feel that many girls cosplay Miku but few can pull off the look. And I don't want to be offensive to any cosplayer but if a character in an anime is very thin and you are overweight the cosplay just does not work.......definitely if the outfit involves showing a midriff..........and, as not to be sexist, I am saying this to all guys and girls alike haha.

I remember when I was at Tekko the cosplayers that blew me away were Master Chief from Halo and Big Boss from Snake Eater but not as many as at Katsucon or Otakon (FYI I live in VA)

Ah this makes sense. I too feel the pain of not seeing the right cosplay's at the right conventions. I was actually hoping to go to "Too Many Games" next week, my friends are going and I think that it would be a wondeful experience for me x3 I want to go to E3 also (but I know it's not very open), and I've never been much other places than that.

I would love to go to E3 as well and this is one of the better years to go because u will be able to test out the XboxOne and PS4. Am excited to see what the PS4 console looks like as well ~~ Just need to wait 3 more days.

Meh, anime characters are already impossible, so cosplayers should just do their best and have fun, even if they can't match the impossible, I think.

As for E3 - be prepared for long lines if you can get in. I've done it before, and wasn't impressed. You see all the same stuff online within a day of it being revealed at E3 for the most part, so dealing with being there to me wasn't useful at all, even when it was my stuff being shown. Just testing the stuff.. well, it's all pre-pre-pre-release anyway, possibly nothing like what the final games will be.

To make it even worse, when you have a bunch of stuff you're interested in, but can't decide which one to watch.

Or, I'm sure we all relate to this, when there's a show you want to watch that CR doesn't have. I love CR, but sometimes it's frustrating, even though I have an understanding of how licensing works (though I'm no expert).

Agreed, to that bolded part! Besides, most cosplayers are doing so just fun rather than to win any kind of contest, so why does it matter if they don't 'fit' the character as long as they're enjoying themselves?

Finishing a new anime, getting that 'empty' feeling, and then starting a new anime right after - the vicious cycle keeps repeating. I swear anime is the only entertainment that really makes me feel sad when it's over. Kudos to you anime!

It's so true - pick any anime, any at all. The most innocent you can find. And your friends/family will pick the exact wrong moment to walk in and think that you're watching some kind of weird cartoon porn from then on

i know that feeling
