I clicked on this thread thinking it was going to be something like "what character or anime can you relate to" and I had a response prepared. Then I see it's about posting something that "everyone" can relate too. I read all the posts people have made in this thread so far and I can't relate to a single one of them. Aside from things like being hungry or feeling pain, there is nothing on this earth that "everyone" can relate to.

Well I hope you know that I mean everyone on CrunchyRoll, or at least a number of them. I want people to talk and make friends through relationships and such, similar happenings. It's always fun.

What anime / character do you relate to? I'm betting that someone else here might relate to the same, which would fold things back into the OP. (Despite my profile pic, I don't really relate to Gourry from Slayers)

Living in fear that someone will laugh at you for loving animé.
Or passing for some kind of loser for the same reason.
Or a pervert.
Or a child molester. (http://gizmodo.com/5815306/american-faces-minimum-1-year-in-prison-for-bringing-manga-to-canada-on-his-laptop)
Wondering if all the exposition to sexy underage female characters will eventually make you turn for the worse.
Wondering if you'll ever find a gf/bf that loves animé too.
Having to explain/convince people how animé is not "just for kids" or thatif it's weird to them, that THEY are weird for not having an open mind to various art-forms.
Having to wait for the next episode COMING NEXT FREAKING WEEK!
Not having all animé I want to watch on CR.
Not having the talent, ressources or money for the cosplay you REALLY want to be.
Etc.

Totally agree with you there. Do you ever have an issue where you want to watch an anime but then u don't want to be disappointed either so you keep putting it off as long as possible?

Yeah that happened to me when i finished angel beats recently i enjoyed so much that when it was over i was sitting there thinking nothings gonna match up (if i gave you a bunch of notifications sorry took me a couple of tries to figure out how to quote)

Also a great topic post - what anime left you in tears? I'm not ashamed to admit that several have...
