I like them pan fried in garlic butter, though marinated for 24 hours and bbq'd is my preferred way to cook them.

I do like cats, but I prefer dogs. I had fish, dogs, and rabbits as pets, but not cats. Cats are very cute, though.

Cats are not loving. They are terrible creatures. If you have a farm or something, they are good for killing rats, and that is all they are good for. They are terrible creatures to have as house pets. When they rub up against you, it isn't to love you, it is to mark you with their scent as property. They don't care when you get home from work. They look at humans as tools and nothing more. There are famous stories of dogs waiting for their owner's return long after the owner had died. Cats don't do that. Cats might make noise to wake people in a fire or when there is an intruder, but it is never to save the people, only themselves.

Lets not forget that they are disease-ridden bags of evil. They defecate in a sandbox, bury it, wade through it, then jump on your furniture, counters, and you with fecal matter in between their toes, then lick it "clean" along with the rest of their bodies, functionally covering themselves in their own waste. And don't forget the pissing everywhere, making the house reek. Plus they tend to like sleeping near people's faces and have actually killed some of their very young and very old owners by asphyxiating them. If they don't kill you by suffocation, they can give you parasites by sleeping with their assholes to your face.

Dogs can do some nasty things too, but they are loving, they can be bathed, and they can be trained to stay off of the counters and food prep surfaces.

In short, I HATE cats.

I love cats! This is my cat Sebastian. He is spoiled and he knows it. He only likes me though. He stays away from others.

I LOVE THEM. <3 *WARNING THIS COULD BE LONG* :) Ever since I was a little tot, I've had this affinity for cats. I calm them down, and they calm me. Every cat I've come across has come up to me, rubbed against me with affection, and purred. I am like human with cat qualities. I'm quiet, sneaky, clumsy, weird, stupid, and smart. Just petting them calms me down and them down. I like scratching their heads especially- they always like that (at least from me). I want a cat really badly, but sometimes I just end up taking care of strays I see around my neighborhood. The picture is actually one I took care of. I named him Spazzy- because he was really hyper but would calm down when I petted him and fed him. Also: I'm a cat whisperer. Sort of. My grandpa has a farm and he told me one of the cats was pregnant and about to give birth. So a day before I left, I literally whispered to the cat "I want to see your kittens before I leave." And last day, right when I was about to leave with my parents, the mom cat comes and meows at me and purrs against me, not letting me go. And I was like, what the hell, what do you want, I got to leave. So I followed her, and she kept stopping every once in awhile, making sure I was following her (how cute is that). And then she finally stopped at some really tall grass, jumped in, and then I saw a little black and orange head poke out, along with the gray and white mother. So weird. So adorable. And my friend's cat used to love sitting just in my lap and sleeping. She was a Siamese named Mia (she could say her name lol) and always was a little vibrating warm thing. But she was a slut. They let her out and she became pregnant with like six kittens. But they were so cute! I LOVE KITTENS. I could say more, but that might make an entire page.

If I could reply to everyone with a cat picture on here I would, by the way. ALL OF YOUR CATS ARE ADORABLE! Except the hairless ones. NO.

I'm exactly the same way.

No, I'm more of a dog person, but I don't dislike cats either.
Dogs are just more loyal and obedient from my experience.

My dog watches my house while I'm gone, barks at strangers, tells me when someones at the door, and greets me with a hug every time I come home.

Cat are something that I've always admired watching. When i see a cat out on the street, I can't help but run after it.

My parents, on the other hand, won't let me keep a pet; I don't really know why, they don't give me a reason, they had pets when they were younger :(

Who else likes cats? Have you had any past experiences that you would like to share?

I like cats because you have to work for their affection. For instance, my family has had our cat for 8 years and she has hated me for 7. Then one beautiful day she rubbed against me, started purring, and I knew I finally could die a happy man. The seven years of working for her love was worth it.

I like one specific breed of cat called Ragdoll. Probably because it's the breed that is most like a dog.
