Anorexic, so I can eat to my heart's content

obese. i love food. this is a really fucked up forum post. is it just me?

Edit:.i'm recovered from anorexia nervosa, but let me tell you, i kept looking in the mirror and seeing myself as ugly and fat. you can't win with both if you're looking to be "sexy" and "low weight."

Obese. I'm afraid of bone loss caused by a lack of nutrition. Just imagining the sensation of my bones "feeling like glass" makes my fingers ache in response to anxiety.

You don't understand what anorexic means, do you?

Anorexic doesn't mean skinny, guys.

Some people need to chill out. It's just a question....

I'd be obese, as a skinny person already, I want the chance to be like cartman on the mobility scooters. Cutting people in line, toilets made just for me, and tip assist.

Being obese is easier a problem to fix than being anorexic. I don't have much experience with either, but from what I do know I can tell being anorexic is a condition that strongly deals with a person's outlook on themselves. An anorexic person doesn't view themselves as the right 'size' or thinks they are too fat when they are clearly normal. it seems (and is) a very hard condition to get past. Most people from what I hear never really get past it but just kinda 'bear' with it the rest of their lives. As for people who are obese, they can clearly tell what they are and can take the necessary steps to get skinny without all of the mental anguish. Although losing weight and being obese aren't to be taken lightly either, I feel more for the struggles of being anorexic.

This thread oddly makes me angry, anorexia is a mental disorder (and all eating disorders for that matter including Binge Eating Disorder). It's not simply a "weight". Suffers of EDs go through so much. What the heck is the point of this thread? Maybe it would have been better worded as "would you rather be chronically over weight or under" because sure as hell, if you have anorexia or binge eating disorder, they're not easy to fix nor should they be joked about.
