browser: chrome

hello, when i watch in full screen, doesnt matter what quality, the controls and video looks pixelated. quality looks fine when i watch on the website, just when its in fullscreen it turns pixelated. other videos outside of crunchyroll such as youtube in fullscreen looks fine.

however, it works perfectly in firefox. i dont know why it looks pixelated in chrome? Does anyone know how to solve this problem? i have tried reinstalling chrome and flash player, but it still looks pixelated.

Other people have reported this browser-specific issue. One apparent workaround is to go full screen before the video starts (i.e, before the time indicator shows current position and length of the video). I also seem to remember a similar issue from the past where enabling subtitle smoothing (of all things) resolved the problem.

A more permanent fix to this issue (at least until Google sorts things out with Chrome) is to use the external flash plugin on your OS rather than the builtin Chrome Flash plugin.

* To do this go to - chrome://plugins/ (type that into your address bar as you would a URL)
* Search for Adobe Flash Player - There should be two entries
* Disable the entry that mentions PepperFlash (this is the builtin Chrome plugin)
* Restart Chrome
