I don't know how I got to 14. I think I clicked 17 something on chapter 13. Or something. Sorry for the confusion.

It's all good. I was mostly worried that you might've been missing a huge chunk of the story.

Their going to make the whole series into movies so you don't have to worry it's confirmed. I wish they went hand drawn style instead of the CGI shit but hey.....moar berserk.

I guess that is a little reassuring but I guess I'll have to wait 10 years for the series to be complete lol. I feel bad for the guys who have been waiting 5+ years already.

Oh my goodness ..., this 3 movie series is amazing...( except for the CGI peeps)

I wouldnt mind watching it again in english since I orginally watched the anime series in english but I will collect the manga. Hopefully the movie will bring about more interest in this title that they will continue what they left off from the series.

I plan on collecting the Bluray of the movies .

I also actually ordered the figma figure of both Griffith and Guts.... yes I am going Berserk crazy

If they were to pick up from where they left off it would be way to late, I think that this will be some later arc in the future.

The movie is covering alot in 3 episodes the entire Golgen Age arc. I totally forgot what was in the anime series until I checked it out.

I really love Sakurai san as Griffith more than Morikawa san did in the series.

If the movies are doing well, I think everyone would want to see and pay for the other arcs animated. Its almost like Hunter x HUnter. Everybody were patiently wating for the Chimera Arc.

Originally when the 3 movies were announced a single source said that the follow up arcs WOULD be anime series. That was like 2 years ago and there has been no 2nd confirmation. Only a mention that the process would take 10 years. So who knows.

Usually a preproduction would take about 2-3 years . In Japan , Goldec Arc I was released last February 2012, then II in June and then III this past February 2013 , so a 10 year process is not that way off.

So if the sales of these movies are doing well , then they would have the budget to continue.

This title is very well written and with Games of Thrones popularity can make this genre of anime be interesting for more adult audience.

I would love to see Berserk redone as a full anime... Was so disappointing where the original anime just cliff dived at such a pivotal point.

I do believe that after the success of the 3 movies, they will make another trilogy. As it was alluded to at the end of movie 3. I really, really, hope they do at least!!

For the movies to go past the series would be a perfect development in my opinion.
Although the movies dont have all the details they are still a great remake of the story.

I have even made a Trailer for Golden Age Arc (The trilogy). *SPOILER ALERT* if u havent seen the 3 movies.
It's just my own personal Fan-manifestation but i hope u like it :P

I do remember the news that they planned to translate all of the Manga into an epic 9 to 11 movie series.

The only problem for right now however, is how are they going to split the next 3 movies? They don't have an anime series to fallback on. The Anime itself was slightly different than the Manga, being far more focused on the "relationships and action" compared to the Manga, which was more "Fantasy and politics" which was an acceptable break.

Seriously now, one has to accommodate things like that.

The original Band of the Hawk arc was all a flashback too, and was it's own story within the story, in a this is the start of the story kind of way.

Which villain is going to make it in the movie? Do we want to have the Sexy Bee-girl and her endless Child-Bee-rapist-army? It has some amazing scenes that would really look nice on the big screen, but the Arc as a whole doesn't seem to go anywhere outside of setting up for the Farnese introduction. I would really like to see several epic scenes from that animated however.

OR they could go with the Count. His fight was rooted in the overall Berserk-story, and I'm still surprised at how it told you the end of the Band of the Hawk arc so frankly, Berserk was planned from the beginning, up to the Eclipse. He wanted Guts to be a badass, then he showed us how it became that. The count fight is also a good introduction to Puck, as well as setting him up for the Farnese encounter and reasons why the Holy Iron Knights would be after him. It also gives us time to have the follow up to the Eclipse AND show some epic action sequences. The movie could end as he's captured by the Iron Knights.

They could then open the Second/Fifth movie with his escape from the Iron Knights, Attempted-Horse-Rape Scene is not a must, just a bonus, but the naked riding of the Sword? Must. The movie would quickly move into the Conviction Arc, which the movie would speed by with some iffy pacing and some skimming of the side duels and fights. Skull Knight will be around surely but his influence will be lessened. That belit monster is gone. The movie will quickly turn into the Rebirth ceremony and of course the movie will have the fight between Holy-Priest-Hulk and Guts, yet will end with the Rebirth and Zodd to the rescue scene.

Our Sixth movie would totally involve Gut's return to the cave, much wandering, and the joining of our new members to the group. It will have the epic Zodd Vs Gut's duel in the valley of swords, and will probably involve gut's quest. Unfortuantly I don't have a good ending for this Arc, I would move it towards the next series of movies, but that would be silly as this is the best ending I could come up with, the start of Gut's next quest ends the second movie set as he focuses on Caska.

The following Movie Series will be far more difficult. You'll have to shove the trolls and Berserk Armor into one movie, and somewhere between them all have Griffith build his new band of the hawk on screen, altho in a more convincing way than the Manga's "everybody walks into an alley, teamwork" The whole stuck in a city Arc would be a nice pace of fun as well, I don't remember it's name but the invasion of demon-moustache's armies and Zodd+Guts teamup would make a great second movie. The 3rd would move into the Sea God arc of course, of which only JUST ended, DAMN IT MAN POST MORE MANGA!

That's all just my thoughts however. The 3rd movie series will easily be the most boring and likely to fail....but the most interesting and character-focused. The arcs after the Conviction set were light hearted, and focused on Gut's bonding with a group. Band of the Hawk skipped the banding of the group to an extent, they were important but they're not. The Gut's brigade are important, they need character development out the face, and have important Journey-type chapters and arcs to deal with this. They would be my most anticipated movies in the series, but the manga hasn't progressed past 9 movies.
