Post Reply Have you TOLD SOMEONE OFF??
Posted 6/8/13
I remember standing in front of the mirror and telling myself "You're probably thinking 'I'm a sexy beast,' right now, but the truth is, you're not." Then I got back to reality and told myself to fuck off. Because I really am a sexy beast.

No. I rarely get angry. When I do, it's not at the level where I would tell off the person who made me angry. I'm a happy person who lacks a backbone.

Hm... I can think of a few times...
Once upon a time, I was sitting in French class, and the guy who sat behind me began spouting off misogynist values. I turned around and said, "If you like your balls the way they are, then I advise you to shut your mouth and never speak around me again." Needless to say, he stopped.
Once upon another time, I was on my way back from a very long day, and I was sitting on the bus with my friends around me. As it was a long car ride, I wanted to sleep. Just as I had fallen asleep, my friend poked me in the side and asked if I was awake. I turned to him and said, "As much as you are my good friend, I hate you. **** off. Let me sleep."
And I should probably stop before I give you all a bad impression of myself. =P

I'm talking to 3 of my buddies, they know I hate her cuz all she do is brag about stuff she didn't even do. I can't stand people like that.
Her beer is empty, she says " be right back", and I replied "you don't have to", in the end she didnt come back

Same here. I don't like getting angry, because when someones angry, it hard to control yourself.
People tend to react first, then think, which isn't healthy. But yea, I'm a happy person too. When you're happy, it doesn't matter if someone's a dick, because your happiness cannot be altered by someone else if you don't let them. Being happy is just great. People should try it sometime.

Story time!

A few years back, I was working at a Tim Hortons, which is basically a starbucks, but cheaper and better. Though the coffee sucks, the food is a lot better, and everything is like 75% off compared to starbucks.

And there was this one Supervisor that sucked, she did a horrendous job. She'd tell you to go clean this or that, or do this and that. Then when you go do it, she'd freak out at you for not standing at your station doing your job. So you go stand at your station and "do your job", and she freaks out cause you're not cleaning this or that. Half the day was literally spent walking back and forth between two stations, and being harassed for not being at the other one.

So she told me to take my break when it died down at, for the sake of ease, let's say 5:00 on the dot. By the time it actually died down, it was about 5:10, so I went and ordered my dinner and a coffee and sat down in the back, which is when your break was supposed to start counting down, and at this point it was 5:15. She comes back right when I come back and start timing my 15 minute break to tell me to get out front cause it's busy. Since it's unpaid breaks, I had to go. When it died down, I went back and continued timing the 15 minutes left on my break. It'd be about 5:30 at this point, no big deal to me, I was happy to help out and not leave them with a busy store.

And she comes back asking me what I'm doing, I tell her I'm taking my break, she tells me my break ended 15 minutes ago.

I won't repeat what I said at that point, but it basically ended up with her crying, and me walking out the door. Good day, good day.

EDIT:

That makes me seem like a hate filled angry person. I don't really get angry anymore, though I used to have a little bit of a problem. I see anger as a useless emotion, it forces you into making decisions you will whole heartedly regret.

Wow same here. People always tell me I should be more aggressive/assertive and I should tell people off, more often.
