Well I just found out for Elder Scrolls Online Sony will let you play it online even if you don't have Plus, but Microsoft on the other hand requires Gold to play it. That in and of itself sucks but then again if you bought a Xone at launch or want to play Titanfall or Destiny you'll likely have it already. Still though one more advantage PS4 has. Sony really is thinking of its customers from the get go this time around.

My friend bought the ps4.........it's a glorified paperweight. he uses his xbox 360 more than it. I don't like the new controller at all and the "MOVE" functions worse than my kinect. Idk im not a big fan of motion gaming......but i understand the future capabilities. they just need to work on the tech and fix it.

I don't at all consider myself an MS fanboy. i liked having a wii for parties to play things like marioparty and old NES and SNES and N64 titles. Plus i always loved pokemon titles so i'd always have a nintendo handheld for that purpose (plus scribblenauts). I had all playstation consoles up to PS3 but honestly thats where i drew the line. The ps3 was a letdown to me.......the exclusive titles got lamer and the damn network was hacked like a bajillion times. Plus on a free network i was faced with playing against alot of punk kids and wannabe thugs.

Ive had MS consoles and loved them all, the network was great and i've made lasting friendships with alot of cool people but the biggest selling points for me were so many great exclusive titles and not just solo titles but great franchises like Halo and Fable. The MTG series has been pretty fun as well. And now Dead Rising is exclusive. Plus all the apps and the fact it acts as an in game DVR, social media, web browser, the new TV app.........idk i just dig this thing. The kinect doesnt bother me cause i cover it with a piece of carboard but i still get to use voice commands and i like the option of High Definition skyping with family and friends.

I own both and let's start with cons on both consoles. Ps4 lacks exclusive games, don't get me wrong killzone is by far the best looking game out right now. Yes they charge an extra $5 for ps+ IF you want to play mulitplayer which not everybody does. They did have faulty consoles but was not near 1% of the million plus units they sold. Now the Xbox let's see I'll start with the price. Very overpriced, lacking the ability to play games in 1080p native with 60fps and does 720p 30fps which for $500 it should be able to right? Also lacking in exclusives ryse was boring and nothing new, deadrising is the same shit deadrising as the previous 2, and forza was actually great plus it's the first ever forza to ever own. Oh also wtf capcom with the 13gb update for deadrising!! Also you have to download an app to watch blue ray movies which is odd the Xbox party chat was ruined the first couple of months as in had hard time connecting to a party and the party chat not even working which you can find forums on their website about it. Also the controller is solid but that Dpad feels cheap like really cheap no improvements there. Also the steaming or using the dvr is difficult to navigate and isn't user friendly.

Now the pros, ps4 does play games 1080p 60fps, the controller is by far a huge improvement. ps+ members get massive discounts and free games not 4 or 5 year old games unlike Microsoft trying to give me halo 3 for free. Sony just gave OUT LAST for free on the ps4 great game super scary and for the ps3 Metro the last light and the games before it was bioshock infinite Sony isn't pushing an old game they had at launch. Also the sharing and streaming on the ps4 is damn easy. All you do is press the dedicated "share" button and share a video screen shot or even start a stream. That's all for my ranting but hopefully Microsoft steps up because I'm pretty sure they are riding on titanfall to save them which I'm looking forward to play but for now xbox is just good for the exclusives after titanfall and all my other multiplat games are on my ps4 just because it gets a better resolution and and yes I can tell the difference my pc plays a lot higher than 1080p so 720p and 1080p is a big leap.

PS4 has to be the better bargain. Sony threw out a selling point by charging for their online service, and Microsoft gained one by adding Blu-ray but in the end one is more powerful and 20% cheaper.

I have been an xbox only gamer since say 2004, I played Wii and PC a little but Xbox and then Xbox 360 have been my only consoles the whole time. I would say I was 95% xbox, 5% other consoles.. Towards the end of the Xbox / PS3 gen I started looking into the Playstation more and all the games I missed out on. With the announcement on the Xbox one and PS4 I started looking more at Sony than Xbox.. especially the fact the PS4 was cheaper, faster and PS+ is killer. With Xbox one first announcing all the lame things, then doing a 180 I didn't feel I could trust them.

So in like November I borrowed my Uncles PS3 to play games i've missed such as Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, Ni No Kuni and play with PS+ and it was awesome. Then to my total surprise that same Uncle got me a PS4 for Christmas, total surprise!

With both the PS3 and 4 I rarely played my Xbox 360 anymore, in fact I have sold 90% of my stuff for it. So with me spending on my time loving the PS3 and 4 I finally got to play an Xbox one last week. I played Dead Rising 3 and Zoo Tycoon got to play play around with the UI and I really wasn't impressed. It seemed sluggish and slow compared to the super fast PS4. You have to go through menus and menus to find stuff on the Xbox One and the UI isn't attractive. I wasn't that impressed with the games either visually.

All in all I feel 100% happy with the choice to switch from xbox to sony for this new generation. I may get an xbox one in a few years time maybe so I can play Halo or whatever but for now the PS4 is king, and its selling like hot cakes!

Cool things I like about the PS4

Controller is best i've used, headphone jack w/ game audio is super cool too
System is good looking and small
UI is nice and simple
PS+ is awesome, got much free atm but titles will come over time

I would only buy the Xbox One for these exclusives.

Halo, Ryse: Son of Rome, Titanfall.

But if I had to choose it would definitely be the PS4.

Xbox One, because I will always want to play halo. I like how the Xbox One is faster than the 360, but I sort miss the system format. Making everything a different app makes things confusing.
