There's some game play footage. It's quite certain that this game is neither "fan-servy" nor was it meant to even really be pushing any boundaries. It's just an RPG with chibi in-game graphics.

The design of the figure is actually surprising in this regard.

It's an RPG with chibi versions of moe charaters (one of them is actually called "idol," lol) using the classic, but now overused, gameplay style popularized by NWC's Might and Magic so it's most probably "fan service."

As for the figurine, there's nothing to complain about, unless you're offended, which you don't seem to be so the discretion is yours.

All i can say is wow.. it's not too much haha ..girls will see this as sexist but they should redefine their perspective and see that they can be like well I'm a sexy monster slayer and no one can stop and i can tease anyone . instead of oh not I'm lustful and everyone loves to get into my panties ughh i hate this stereotype....doesn't mean u have to be slutty u can play hard to get ... i mean the people buying this are most likkely 16+ and sheesh who hasn't had the talk or seen reproductive organs by now cmon get realistic .. and thats what the figurine is .. realistic .. bang for the buck and this most certainly is

Well you did pay for a figure that has a ton of detail. Don't get me wrong the camel toe is a bit much but, it doesn't surprise me it is there

Not too much detail. "Camel Toe" is perfectly normal for hardcore collectors of this ilk. Human anatomy. It's not that big of a deal really. No different than looking at belly fat.

I think most people think in the same way I do on this subject but there are two different kinds of fan service.

The cute kind & the...other kind.

I think it's safe to say the one being discussed is the latter, which is why I cited 7th Dragon to be lacking "fan service". It's lacking that kind of fan service, which makes this figure a unique depiction of its source material given the sculpt of the private areas.

Me personally I definitely have no issue with it! I simply find it interesting to hear others and their opinion on it.

It's just a fanservice bonus that's used to boost sales, is all. At least you have to deliberately look up her skirt to see it.
You looked, perv, so that's what you get.

On another note, her underwear looks to be very uncomfortable to wear.

I understand the attraction to detail, definitely.

I suppose this is different to me, as normally I see the crotch area in panty/bottom bikini regions depicted as just mere "flat" surfaces (which isn't totally inaccurate to what it really looks like, that kind of definition is definitely not...common on real life examples).

I'm not a figure person, so I don't know if this is a common design, but there is nothing offensive about it. However, if you think it was included for any reason other then marketing the figure to people who view the object as a sexual desire, you are lying to yourself. Of course, that doesn't mean you can't appreciate the figure as a whole for it's aesthetic beauty. People appreciate Michelangelo's David, and they're not perverted because of it.

I would need a few minutes to examine it a bit more closely before passing final judgement...
