I remember Veoh. I actually used it to download anime when I first moved out on my own. I think I got all of Lucky Star as well as Nagasarete Airantou through Veoh back in 2007.

I used to watch a little bit of anime on Veoh, mainly the original Naruto after it went off cartoonnetwork years ago. I watched Spirited Away on Veoh a few days ago.

Never really like the service cause of the download manager they made you for video over certain length, but I like the company cause they stuck it to Universal in court.

Used to go on there all the time back when I first started watching anime online, it used to have this sweet bug where if you pressed play/pause twice during a commercial you could skip it. It became my main site for a while when CR took all its anime off but when the brought it back I came back here. Every now and then I will try looking on veoh for an anime that I really wanna see but no where else has.

I never really liked Veoh. The player wasn't that great and the site removed anime all the time. The comment system wasn't very good either and the overall site design was just okay. But back then your only choices were youtube, Veoh, megavideo, and a couple other small time players. But every anime or video site in general pretty much only used those three.

But then as time passed more video players popped up (particularly several Megavideo clones which shut themselves down after the megavideo thing) and overtime the small time players got better and better and some grew into pretty good players and sites. Veoh on the other hand has changed very little and their player hasn't improved much at all. Even when they finally did do a facelift the look and performance still were only okay.

Veoh's problem is they just don't know how to give their site a good flair. Everything is either okay or poor.

Aww man, veoh used to be awesome. I've meet some good friends on that site, which I still have contact with today. The veoh player was the shit and it was epic. It's just too bad it all went down the crapper. I hate it when sites sell out like that. Everybody's got a price.

Veoh uploads on those not-to-be-named sites tend to be the only ones that work these days, I hate the player never actually goes full screen (leaving a nice reminder who is bringing you the video you're watching ) but it beats not having access to the show at all.
Never actually been to veoh.com itself though. Heck only time I went to megavideo was when it got itself shut down.
