To me:Art is a mixture of skills that are brought together as an expression to be viewed.Even art can be an art form. If you strive it to be.So yeah while some on the list can vary in expression,in art. Art and the beauty and merit hold only to whover deems it be. Art as said before. "In the eye of the beholder"

Something meant to convey an Idea or evoke an emotion. Honestly you could consider just about anything art so long as it impacts you

Consist of two people rolling around .. Pencil in hand and paintbrush with the other ..
Sounds just about right.

For Asians, art would consist of gambling and Hennessy.. tru story.

I had no more to add on. I agree what other people previously posted, except the one posted above this post of mine.

I really agree with the whole art is in the eye of the beholder, because the definition of art can be vastly different from one person to another. I honestly don't see the big deal with Picasso. I've studied his stuff in humanities class before and I just didn't understand it, at all. I know this would drive people mad.

Art is a physical manifestation of an idea which an artist creates while meditating on that idea in hopes of conveying certain emotions that the idea brings to the artist to another person when that person perceives what the artist has created.

So then, just to be clear, the receipt that I got at the grocery store is a work of art because it expresses the price of my groceries? It's fine if you want to call that art, but I just wanted to be sure you guys understand that your definition covers most anything humans can do publicly, which seems kind of pointless. Plus, I think it's possible to make art without showing it to anyone.

Very well said... What is art to you may not be an art to others perspective.

trolling,
Art is what anyone see fit to be art. You could consider sleeping an art.

things that have at least some amount of detail i generally consider art

sorry, a blue square in a red square is NOT my idea of art

but each to his own. I like what Andy Warhol said: "Art is what you can get away with."

Bring yourself in. You're a product of your parents' love, and each offspring of every human combination is different. I can't think of a bigger masterpiece than the human species.
