Shamanic Princess is from Media Blasters. It was originally licensed by the now-defunct Central Park Media, but recently re-licensed by Media Blasters.

Well, good to see another OVA series come to Crunchyroll, and CR getting more 90s stuff.

I've seen on the Portuguese language forums that Crunchyroll seems to have acquired Latin America, Spain/Portugal only rights to Sacred Blacksmith. I think this would be the first time Crunchyroll would be able to sidestep Funimation rights by getting a catalog title to some region outside of North America. (I assume its Spanish/Portuguese only subtitles)

Finally.

Crunchyroll's seeming determination to only get hold of a series if they can get it for the US has been perhaps my biggest long-term bugbear about this site.

Of course, it isn't available here in the UK either, but if they can do it once it means they're open to the option and can (and hopefully will) do it for more series in the future as well.

Little Busters! Refrain is 13 episodes with Little Busters! EX being 8 unaired episodes that come with each of Refrain's 7 BD and DVD volumes.

Kill la Kill is probably 25 episodes(9 BD/DVD volumes). Strike the Blood is 24 episodes(8 BD/DVD volumes)

As further confirmation, Daisuki lists its most recently simulcast episode as "3 of 25".

The key to this one is that a video distributor with rights for that region apparently decided to play ball with CR. I expect if the same were true for the UK, you would start seeing more library titles (and perhaps some not available to U.S. CR users, due to being licensed here by Funimation or Viz).

Though this is a catalog title, and the problem for catalog titles has clearly been the lack of interest of international licensors in streaming their series at Crunchyroll. Here was a Latin American licensor willing to stream a catalog title on Crunchyroll.

Of course, it isn't available here in the UK either, ...

... while so far, UK & Australian licensors have refused to stream catalog titles on Crunchyroll.

Concerning Seiken no Blacksmith, I had thought from reading the Spanish announcement that it was to launch tomorrow, but the Portuguese announcement was more accurate: http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2013/10/14/novo-ttulo-no-acervo-seiken-no-blacksmith and so that has already launched

For the UK to get the Sacred Blacksmith, Manga UK would have to get on board with Crunchyroll. If a Spanish company(Yowu) can do it, I can see a British company doing it. Hopefully this means that at least some of the EU(and Latin America) are able to get more titles, and be able to get some Funimation titles that they'd have no other way of having a legal stream of.

Yeah, while the UK is getting additional anime streaming from Animax UK, which promises to be a much better resourced startup than Anime-On-Demand was and which UK members can at least hope will pick up most of the Funimation and Viz anime that are blocked to Crunchyroll ...

... but Latin America has long since seen Animax Latin America abandon anime in favor of live action series, Netflix seems the only other main streaming option, so if Crunchyroll can develop a working relationship with Latin American licensees, that would be good news for Latin American members.

I'm not sure if this news goes here, but Funimation now only has episodes 278-295 of One Piece, along with the two latest simulcast episodes, where just yesterday they had episodes 1-a good bit. Bummer >_>

OnePieceOfficial/Hulu still has them though, but still...

They're there from 1-295 ... 278-295 and two simulcasts are just page one of the display. Go click "2" at the bottom of the episode display and you'll see 258-277. Click "15" and you'll see 1-15.

Maybe when you looked they didn't have the pages finished yet, but looking there today, I see 1-295 (Funimation's home video licensed titles), plus two simulcasts.

The territories are the same as when the series was first broadcast, so unfortunately it is not available in Ireland.

Update to Initial Post:

Last updated: Tuesday, October 22nd, 2013 @ 12:22PM EDT
Added episode count to Little Busters!: Refrain, Kill la Kill and Strike the Blood

I have no idea when I'd make another update. Pupa still doesn't have an air date other than this Fall. Obviously if there are any late titles added to Crunchyroll, I'll update then.

Thanks for confirming that ~ since it wasn't in the announcement, I looked at the .rss media:restrictions tag, and thought it was odd that Ireland was left out while the UK (gb) was there.

I was wondering whether that had been an oversight in the database, but I guess it was just a weird license region from the start.
