Thanks for linking that video! I had always wondered about that Del stuff because I had always thought pain was subjective, now I know I was right! I can't see how you can really compare the two though, considering no one person would be able to suffer through both. Though, I guess women have it lucky in the view that I don't think they're usually laughed at after giving birth like a guy would be after getting kicked in the cahones.

It doesn't matter which one, it all depends on how well you can handle pain. Some can handle it better than others.

1. let's get rid of one variable shall we? The epidural. Let's assume that for a moment, the woman in question has decided to go through a natural child birth. No drugs, no pain killers, nada.

2. Giving birth is easier because women have time to prepare. It's not like the 9 months or so of preparation are a walk in the park. Nausea, pain, swelling, moodiness, heart burn, constipation, nose bleeds, "leaking" ( as in peeing yourself because the baby is pushing up against your bladder) etc. Of course, everyone is different, and not ever woman is going to have a god awful pregnancy. Then there's the fact that there are cases where a woman has been pregnant.. AND NOT KNOWN ABOUT IT. Heck there's even a tv show about it. I have also known guys who knowingly and WILLINGLY let people hit them below the belt.

3. Woman get to be happy mothers after words! Postpartum pain. also Postpartum depression.

All of that taking into account. THERE'S NO WAY OF KNOWING. Why? Pain is subjective and can't be measured accurately, everyone experiences pain differently. I slam my shin into the table and I just sorta hop around in a little dance of pain while fighting back tears. My friend slams her shin into something and doesn't even notice it.

Childbirth agony lasts for HOURS, and this ONLY after carrying the baby for nine months (usually).

Getting kicked in the nuts is only a few moments of agony and humiliation.

Childbirth is more painful in my opinion. Since well, we have to endure it for hours and we might die((it is possible from lots of blood loss and other reasons)). But I think if your balls get kicked, you won't die from that. You'll most likely be...somewhat castrated? I don't know. But childbirth is like squeezing a watermelon from a hole as big as a lemon. Imagine that.

Pain is subjective as has been stated it seems. Generally however, I'm going to have to say childbirth ftw on this one. I'm sorry, there's no way in my mind that getting kicked in the testes can compare.

Women are amazing with what they can do. There's a reason why they were/are seen as sacred or the more 'miraculous' of the two genders. Simple fact.

Well, how bout we just put it this way. Women knowing the pain of childbirth still have sex and take the risk of,or purposely have another child. With only a few exceptions,no guy is going to purposely get kicked in the nads

It seems I'm destined to quote you tonight. (Night for me anyway)

I can understand why he thinks that, though I disagree. Of course, I'd also like to hear where he saw/heard it was a fact. lol
