App version: 2.12
iOS: 6.1.3
Streaming via wifi

Recently, (I think because of the recent app update) my queue doesn't go to the next episode after finishing the last. It just freezes on one episode. I managed to make it update once by logging out and back into the app and then watching my next video, but then it freezed once again and I can't get it going again. Tried relogging, restarting iPad, reinstalling app, but no luck. It says my next up in gintama is 76 when it should be 79.

Is there a way to manually set the counter?

Been having the same problem as the posts above, same device and update versions and everything lol

Queue and history not updating after watching an episode

I've brought it to the attention of the iOS Engineer and he's looking into it.

He has asked if you guys might be able to give further information / details on what happens when the video 'freezes'.

Also, can you please try logging out and logging back in and let us know if that helps.

Its not that the video freezes when you play it but more like it doesn't register that I've watched an episode after it ends so the queue doesn't update.

I've tried logging in and out a couple times and it still doesn't fix it.

As Rito says, it's not the video that freezes but rather the counter, when I finish an episode it doesn't show the next episode in the queue, but continues to show the old video I've already watched, even though I've actually watched through a few more episodes past it by using the show's video browser. (As a workaround)

Ask away if you need more info/clarification

Edit: It seems it not only updates to the next episode on completion, but also does not show the videos I'm watching in history anymore. I'm only watching one show right now, so I can't tell you if it's just that one item on my queue which is glitched. I'll watch another and let you know.

Alright, so I tried logging out and in again, but no luck. I then watched a different show in my queue to see if it had the same problem, but bizarrely enough, It doesn't. It shows the next episode as it should.

The anime in my queue that won't update is showing 76 as my next episode, even though I was on 79. So I went back and played the last thirty seconds of episode 77, but nothing happened. I then watched episode 79 (continuing the series from where I was), and when it finished, the queue set my next episode to 77. I have no clue why or how that happened, so I just kept watching... finished 80, it was still 77, but when I finished 81, the queue finally corrected itself and now shows the next as 82. Won't watch anymore tonight, so I'm unsure if it won't just freeze there now.

Not sure if this helps your guy with the issue, since I couldn't reproduce it on a different item in my queue, but thanks for the quick customer service.

Logging out and in again didn't change anything for me either. I also tried watching a different show from my queue, but have the same no updating issue as before. Sorry

Good news!!!

We have pinpointed the issue causing this and are able to fix it!!

Bad news... :/

It's not a soft tweak that can be done without an update to the app.
We're working on this now and will resubmit and hope to have a new version (minus the queue bug) out within the next 2 weeks.

I'm having this problem after watching some episodes on my Apple TV. It was working fine while I was only using iPad and the website on my mac, but now won't update wherever I watch from. Have trie d logging out on both iPad and Apple TV.
