For me it's gotta be this

Enjoyed every chapter, and the plot gets even more interesting. As for characters, they don't look the most appealing, but each individual character has great development. Aside from the Hiatus lol, it's still the very best manga I have personally read up to date.

i would say One piece, yea it does have the whole nakama thing going on. but luffy is not a hero, and its the only shounen series where its the main character against the whole world (as far as i can think of right now)

That one Shounen that's different from the norm, for me would be HxH.
It's definitely a piece of work from Yoshihiro Togashi and steps away from the typical Shounen cliche.
I'm happy to stick with it since elementary school

Yoshihiro Togashi seriously needs to pick up the slack, and actually progress the story. It's a shame that such a brilliant series has been left untouched for over a year now.

Deadman Wonderland definitely along with Attack on Titan :D. Each chapter always keeps me hooked. Can't really predict what's gonna happen in both of them either which is a huge plus. Looking forward to seeing where they are both going.

Hopefully the hiatus ends soon, I still have high hopes for Togashi

Aku no Hana is considered shounen so I pick that.

Fullmetal Alchemist.

Definitely a shounen, definitely a story with the importance of friends and family and strong MCs but... the characters are all flawed humans who rise above their shortcomings (lol sorry Ed) to protect what is important to them. That rise comes with losses, but with losses comes growth.

Best manga I've ever read.

Going to go with Hunter x Hunter on this one. The show kills off characters like it's nothing and has dark themes (even more so in the manga). Oh and the manga needs to return from its dam hiatus already. It's been ages.
