Its nice to see that Crunchyroll is now adding OVAs to the site cause I'd rather have the option to watch legally.

It is possible to buy them on disc you know

Can't afford to import atm and if I do import it has to have subs on the disk.

The Aniplex of America release will have subs but they are priced like imports. Just pointing out that there is an alternative but you're right that Crunchyroll is great value and it is great that we'll get to see the OVAs here legally, much better than season one. I hope this trend continues though it would also be nicew if they could finish shows in the regular broadcast schedule. Waiting until August is a bit long.

I hate AoA's model only cause before I can save up the money the sets are OOP a couple months after release. I mean just look at Garden of Sinners and Fate/Zero. So when I see that Aniplex gets something I expect it to be $100 a pop even when they are not imports like SAO blurays. -__- While I can get more episodes per volume than what Japan consumers got its still a little too much for me.

My problem isn't so much as their pricing model as it is their limited boxsets and never re-releasing it on DVD cheaper and if they do its still limited copies (see OreImo). Once its gone its gone and it pisses me off greatly.

I only buy imports so I wasn't even aware of that issue. But if I was aware of it, I would buy with a credit card rather than saving up... that way you get what you want when it is available. But perhaps that is just silly me...

With the imports... you can still buy the individual "limited edition" ahem Madoka discs. You can still buy the Bakemonogatari Boxed Set which just came out last year IIRC. In fact I'd say it is the reverse, some people wait forever for a cheaper Boxed Set which never comes. I myself prefer the Limited Editions as they come with the soundtrack CDs and extra artwork. I ended up having to buy the Songs and Soundtracks CD for Bakemonogatari anyways as I wanted them so I'm not sure I saved any money by getting the Boxed Set + Soundtrack 2-CD set!

Anohana was from NIS America, which would have only U.S. and Canada rights.

Great to see Usagi Drop coming back, I wouldn't mind re-watching that and funny enough I made a review of it yesterday, it spoiler free as well http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDp9o5Yk4o4 and good thing about AnoHana as well, such a great series.

Not getting a credit card again it took ages just to pay off the ones we used to have. While there is Amazon and E-Bay for whatever AoA released, but when there is an copy available its expensive to the point where it is actually cheaper to order off of CDJapan and have it imported. xD

I really don't care for LEs much since I'd rather just own the series and watch it whenever I want without worry about buffer issues or problems with internet connection. If AoA is going to re-release bare bones DVDs like Oreimo they should at least keep them in print longer just sayin cause right now there is only 3 copies on Amazon and AoA released the bare bones set less than two years ago.

For a person like me I'd rather stick with what Funi and Sentai release until I can get a job. Cause at least they keep licenses for a few years before dropping them and stop printing copies.

I've seen Usagi Drop being on this website about a month ago, publicly available. I was rather confused, as it was definitely after they pulled it down. Helpdesk said that it was supposed to be available.

Looking at it now it really is down, but I am still somewhat confused.
