anyway, I don't really tend to like outright yuri manga/anime.
I tend to lean more towards something that has lesbianism in it, but focuses on the story and not their romance so much.
Sailor Moon, Utena and such.

But my favorite yuri anime is Sasameki Koto, very sweet.
I really like Sasameki Koto too. That's not the only reason I chose this avatar, though. I just think it gives a good expression of my reaction to the anime fandom at times.

I love yuri and shoujo-ai, deeply.
Especially I love older series, for example Riyoko Ikeda's works. Also Girl Friends, Marimite, and Yuru Yuri.

Sasameki Koto is not only one of my favorite Yuri/shojo ai manga, it is one of my favorite manga, period! It has one of the finest endings of any manga I have ever read. I love that it is a story that doesn't use the yuri aspects only for titillation, but also advocates for equality and uses the girls' sexual preference in the story by having it used against them by rivals at one point.

Some of the other Yuri that I have read:
Candy - a short and sweet shojo ai story about a pair of girls who are trying to make a relationship work around busy school schedules, societal pressure, and peer pressure. They try to keep the relationship a secret at first, since it is not "socially acceptable" and have trouble when studies and club activities get in the way of their time together. It adds a nasty bit about an evil school nurse who tries to seduce the younger of the two
It has a wonderful ending,

The art is nice, with very pretty, shojo style characters. It would have benefited from either being longer or by being shorter or using some device other than the evil nurse character.

Hen - by Hiroya Oku - There are two versions of this, or a first and a sequel or something like that. The other one is mostly shounen ai, and those characters come into the story late in the process. An interesting fieature is that Hiroya Oku (better known for Gantz) is one of the characters in the story (the best friend of the trap character that comes in late in the story and is one of the main characters in the other version). The story is OK for the first part of it. You have a tall, "beautiful", half-foreign girl with a huge rack who is just shy of being a sociopath. She seems to not have a home, but instead stays in the homes of various men whom she has enthralled with her womanly charms, or blackmailed, depending on the situation. She most decidedly has never been "in love", despite spending time with many, many men. Her story about herself is inconsistent and, one feels, most likely a compilation of lies surrounding a truth in the center. She seems to come from either a broken home or is an orphan now, but it is unclear if any of the things she says about her own past are true or not. (I finished the manga not really knowing if what her family story really was about. All I figured out is that she was picked on because of her foreign looks at one point and she seems to have a brother that looks a lot like her who said something about all of his sisters being consummate liars who use men...)

Everything changes for her when she meets a new transfer student. She is suddenly struck by that nasty disease "Love" for the first time in her life. Much to her shock, the object of her ardor is Azumi Yamada, a petite (to the point of appearing to be an elementary school student), adorable, and decidedly female student who lives next door to the guy she is freeloading off of.

The plot falls into pieces about 2/3 of the way through when the shounen ai characters are introduced and the ending is massively rushed, because the series was cancelled from what I read, but it does have a nice twist at the end, when you think the author was going to end it with everyone with the "wrong person". The yuri parts are non-explicit, but there is plenty of ecchi and several hetero sex scenes, so be warned.

The art is pretty iffy. I am not a huge fan of the art style. It has a lot of really pointy chins and angular bodies that are not particularly attractive and the body proportions are way out of whack. (However, some of Oku's later work, Me-Teru no Kimochi in particular, have fantastic art, so I have to assume this was merely an early work where he was learning how to draw characters better. They are a bit better near the end of the series, though still too angular. I haven't read Gantz, so I am not sure what his style was in his most popular work.)

I'm sure there are a couple of others that I have read, and I know I have seen a couple of yuri/shojo ai anime that I loved (Blue Drop and the far to short, but still incredibly sweet anime version of Sasameki Koto, in particular). I plan on picking up a few more yuri titles soon...

Amerio Kouchakan Kandan is a great yuri/shoujo-ai manga. It's a really sweet story of a women who runs a tea shop and the high school girl who comes to work for her. http://myanimelist.net/manga/11685/Ameiro_Kouchakan_Kandan

Sorairo Girlfriend
http://myanimelist.net/manga/24205/Sorairo_Girlfriend
Aoi Hana (same level of explicit content as Girl Friends)
http://myanimelist.net/manga/1363/Aoi_Hana
Hatsukoi Simai
http://myanimelist.net/manga/3400/Hatsukoi_Shimai

These four I found to be really good and are light on the explicit content found in yuri. If you're not a big fan of yuri then not having that in the story might make it more enjoyable.

I'm looking for some yuri/shoujo ai manga with a decent amount of chapters translated(more than 6). I rather they not contain any incest or bdsm, but other than that anything goes. Doesn't matter if they're continuing or not, and I don't care if it's on indefinite hiatus like Prism. I rather they not be licensed, like the Last Uniform, because I don't have any way of buying manga off the internet.

A MAL link will suffice

Off the top of my head, here is a list of stuff I've already read or am reading currently:

14-Sai no Koi (14 Year-old Love, Love 14, 14 Year's Love... whatever), ha a yuri side-couple I think. But besides that, it's insanely cute, sweet and romantic. <3
